All joking aside I know it's dirty but big respect to the owners what they put on the door. "if you are lonely or need someone to talk too we are here for you" That goes along way.

Hahaha! That mattress looks like it found dumped in a dodgy alley way. Looks like Seaman Staines and master Bates are regular guests, along with Little Miss Pissypants! Many of those stains have probably accumulated due to the lack of toilet roll 😊 glad you had a good sleep though😂 As for leaving your bag in the room, I do, but I leave a note, as I've had my rukki rifled through when I've stayed in some dives. Now, if anyone opens it, they are greeted with 'smile you thieving ba***rd, you're on camera' 😉 Thank you for sharing your trip, it's the most I've laughed all weekend!

I was born and raised in Blackpool and it really hacks me off to see places like this are allowed to still be in business, they should be closed for good. Please don't be put off, we have fantastic b&bs hotels and guest houses to stay, this gives us a bad name, I'm ashamed these places exist, said on behalf of all sand grown friends 😮😢

That was a blast from the past, I had that wallpaper and shower flooring 1985 😂 But I couldn't stay there, looks like the mattress was from 1985 😮 Your a brave man 😂😂

I stayed in that room Nov 22 and was in a better state then that. Stayed 3 times there last year but booked a big double room with a sofa in it. Also there is a toilet on the next floor which is bigger. Never had an issue with toilet roll, and it does get busy there in the season and everybody i talked to said they like it.

I went to Blackpool when I was in my 20s with wife and kids just for weekend, this was 34 years ago it looks the same shit hole Iv never been back and never will 😂

You could always find a haunted B & B. That should generate some clicks......

your awesome doing these. It helps me to choose where to stay if I fancy a few days in Blackpool. That room, although small was bearable but that mattress was pretty disgusting. I wouldn't know a bed bug but I guess you have to look for little black specs. Even more expensive hotels can have bed bugs. Somewhat off putting but one would never go anywhere if they thought about it too much. Love watching you Dan, keep all your videos coming x

I just get from seeing you in a tent, then up you pop in a guest house! 😂 That mattress!!! words fail me. No toilet paper! could be an oversight, but they should have a check list or have a routine. The mix n' match furniture makes me feel they kitted the place out from the local charity shop. But at least your rubber gloves matched the general theme of the place.

It doesn't matter how cheap you pay. You should be provided with a clean tidy room with at least 1 roll of toilet roll. I went to one once where you paid per night but in the room, there was a coin slot for room electric, including the lights plus another if you wanted to watch tv. Omg hs ha

I can highly recommend riviera in Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast, as the hosts are friendly welcoming and breakfast is rwalky homesokw and perfectly cooked with plenty of choices and you can adjust it to your liking with as much tea and coffee as you want. Rooms are highly decorated to a great standard, and all are warm. They r in the process of upgrading the heating system to their radiators by changing to modern eco electric thermostat sensored and customisable controlled ones. Perfect location on the towns west cliff sea front . I always stay here whenever i go to whitby

Just started watching your videos and honestly can not believe the state of some of the places. I appreciate they are budget but at the end of the day they are a business charging for a service and cleanliness is not much to ask for. It doesn't need to be the ritz but it should be clean. The blue light gets me every time, always gipping 🤣🤣

Dan I think the ceiling was because of a leek and the water runs down the wall and soaks into the mattress. Another good vid keep them coming.

Being £19 a night, some can be not looked after properly. If the hotel inspector was called in probably close it down

I stayed here in 2023 for Blackpool Pleasure Beach and never again I book something. Private owned, the owner was creepy, just because I was with a friend he assumed we were gay immediatly, said two boys will have fun in the bed, we didn't dare to use the shower also... Also the wall had a weird message if you feel alone you can always talk with him and stuff... John made us feel unsafe tbh and it was scary

Great video, me and my family love Blackpool just a shame some of these guest houses make it seem run down. Me and my partner stayed in this guest house for 4 nights last year and even though it wasn’t the cleanest or comfortable for that matter the owners are lovely and the message on the door about needing someone to talk to was so nice. Just a shame it was so run down else we would of returned but we now save up a bit more and stay in the premier inn

Hotel is meant to have a bar, restaurant & breakfast. B&B is meant to have a bar & Breakfast... Guest House is normally only a room... Great video and keep up the good work.

Stayed in it a few months ago in the double room, got talking to one of the employees who showed me the work they were doing on a new room unfortunately he left the doors open on the rest where i seen buckets full of water and smell of dampness, that room is above the room you were in so that explains the celling 😂

Can’t be too careful with those iffy showers. I was watching a vlog of a couple living in a van in France, his wife caught legionnaires disease from a mucky shower head in a public shower block and ended up in intensive care and almost died.

That was a very fair warts and all review of this place. I wouldn’t stay here even for the price or the talk. I think that box on the wall was some kind of wi fi router. It’s the sort of place you sleep fully clothed.

Honestly mate, shisha hotel in blackpool, the worst one ever. We went and there was a huge hole in the floor, there was a windowsills full of jonnies, proper grim. Its called the SHISHA CAFE. but its a hotel.

It must be getting you down doing these videos, going to places like "Murder houses" back streets of Blackpool can make anyone depressed. Its good that people like you are brave enough to do it though and actually show us....its quite funny when you get the gloves on and the UV light comes out and you actually start cleaning though 😂 Remote control for tv and door handles are the worst culprits for hidden germs. I always take my dettol spray when we go away. 🤣 Great channel and well done fo you. xx

mate that bed was rank, made me laugh when you said the rest just had standard stains like you would at home. I wouldn't rent a room with standard stains, it would be a clean full stop. How you slept in that bed amazes me. I would have got my money back and slept in the car I was scratching myself watching this vid. Thanks for sharing

I'll see your no bogroll, and raise you no shower head - but has a shower Atlantis Hotel!😂 That place has an HMO feel with a dash of emergency temporary accommodation about it. Holes in the doors. Slug trails from the kitchen to the buffet style cold (meant to be hot) breakfast. Dated, smelly, and with a view to the rear alley that looks like a scene right out of CSI New York. The list goes on!! 😂

I went there for my honeymoon when that mattress was new 😂

I feel sorry for a family with kids. The kids will get into all the dirt as kids are very active and get into everything as they are curious as well. They will pick up all the dirt.

Please would you consider doing Bowies, its further down from the tower on the front, a guest house for pets and their parents....also The Chesterfield, not too sure where they are but its also a pet friendly place Ive heard of...apparently the owners are dog mad....theres not many Dog friendly places in Blackpool, we used to go to the Imperial but they changed their policy. Im a new subber, just found your channel today. 😀😀👍👍

My mother had a similar table and she would put newspapers and magazines on the bottom bit. Cup of tea or coffee sat on the top bit lol.

NOT TOO BAD?????!!! It was a gross health hazard typical of many in Blackpool and other seaside towns. I just found your channel and I love it 😅 I hope the £19 includes the exciting evening entertainment…Blackpool’s version of Russian Roulette ie., will the ceiling fall down on me tonight? My husband works away and always takes his sleeping bag for places like this (and worse) ☹️☹️🤮🤢

First time here I do all that when I stay in a place much to the annoyance of my partner, new sub and great content 👍

I'm amazed that you thought the only thing wrong with that room was the mattress. The toilet looked dingey, there was stuff hanging out of the sanitaty bin, no bog roll but the empty tubes were on the floor and the carpet looked like it was in bad need of a vacuum. The bedroom same, dingey, the fact that there was an empty croissant wrapper on the cupboard means it's not been cleaned, lots of holes in the walls and ripped wallpaper, mould in the corner, it's tiny, pokey and grimey.... but you think they could charge £30 after changing the mattress just because there's RU-vid on the TV?? Mate they could charge 30 quid if they repainted, refurbished, vacuumed .... never mind RU-vid. I'd rather have no TV at all and clean surroundings. 😵

There is an apartment on George Street in Blackpool where you could try... ground floor apartment
