🦘🇦🇺Thank you Nick for a great tour. That’s a clever little machine. I love how the passengers seat swivels. You can keep playing cards undistracted. Or what ever else you want to do with your guests. Those kitchen draws are very neat the way they allow the kitchen to be that unique shape. And as for the master bed, that’s just so cute the way it’s extended. OMG, & it’s an 8 speed gearbox. I’d personally lose count 🤣 Nice machine though. 🙏
Hi Nick, This is a moterhome where you can live forever with 2 people and even with four guest in good comfort This Carthago S Plus. I like the rounding and curved lines inside the big bathroom with a separated shower the only odd thing is that draw where you can put a coffeemachine from a certain brand I like my coffee fresh not from a syrup Thank you Nick this is again a great show 👍👍👍👍👍
Hi nick wow that's fantastic, I love the big garage at the back. You could lock the mother in law in there if you get sick of her on family holidays, 👍, great video, thank you nick best wishes to you 👍🚎🚙🚚
Hello from France, for ONE time they are a lot's storages in the kitchen and we not see 😂 It's ridiculus, for the price, we can see all 😂 no ? Thank lot for a visit
The quality of motorhomes has always been improving but the pricing now is a totally different ballpark, even more so at entry level. Great if you have the means but the one thing that ive observed and like, is the amount of places hiring them out now and at a really good price
I didnt expect the shower in that space but like way the sink for the bathroom can be left open while the toilet still is. It would be a pain having to open and close a door each time you washed your hands and you dont need privacy for that but if you do need to wash other things, it can be closed off. Love the lighting too and cabinets. The vehicle itself looks like the older style ones from the outside that are so dated now and you walk inside and everything is perfectly uptodate.
I’m sorry, I’m coming over from your other channel and I am loving this, but I do feel you need a third channel called “From Chavs to Riches” where you showcase people who start in these gorgeous caravans and move to a Princess 75. Just a thought, you could be the new Robyn Leach.
Hi Nick, we work with Carthago and Malibu in the UK and wondered if you would like to review some other Carthago and Malibu motorhomes and camper vans? Please get in touch if you're interested.
nick, during one of these tours would you kindly explain how a cassette toilet works...i dont quite get it. is it essentially just a cat box for people? lovely vehicle but those bins will be annoying to use. and you never use a 12 inch skillet on that hob at the same time as you are warming something in a pot. the eyes are too close together to be practical. much better to have two eyes further apart. love these when they have a split head. makes excellent sense. the other thing i have questiona about is the bedding. are there custom sheets you must buy only from them to fit the unusual shaped beds??
It was really nice, but being 6 foot five I was wondering if there would be enough leg space when you’re sat on the toilet. maybe sometime if you feel like it, you could put this toilet lid down. and sit on it so you know how much legroom you have in the cubicle, but if you don’t want to just don’t thank you.
What a very strange take! So if you park a £100K Porsche in a car park with £2,000 Vauxhalls in, that somehow diminishes the experience for you? How very judgemental of what other people have...
@@MOTAHOLIC Just my opinion. We all judge. I judge you as a nice person even though I seem to have ruffled your feathers. Sorry about that. I'd have more fun in Smuggler's Blues 2 than in a super yacht as I don't play by the more is better mantra. It's all about having fun at the end of the day. If a £248 000 motorhome makes the owner happy, then it's a good deal for a multi millionaire who likes to be the fancy pants on the campsite! Thanks for replying. Love your YT channels
Feathers not remotely ruffled, just genuinely staggered that someone could think that there’s no point having a high end motorhome because there will be poorer people with cheaper vehicles in the vicinity. But hey, whatever. 🙂
@@MOTAHOLICOnce you add the extras it’ll be closer to 300k. And certainly all the various Cathargo owners I’ve met and that are in the group aren’t multi-millionaires any more than we are, it’s all about how you choose to spend your disposable income. The absolute joy of camping is we can be parked up beside a 25yo caravan, a micro camper, etc and everybody gets along and conversations occur about different sites, local attractions etc it’s such a leveller apart from the rare odd individual who thinks we just get handed beautiful machines and not the fact I worked 70 hours a week for decades inc every holiday, to be able to afford nice things later in life. The challenge with the 8.6 m in the U.K. is you are restricted on certain sites and choice of pitches as most max out at 8m. Great review
@@celtic-audiophile Totally agree. It's exactly the same in the boating world, no one cares what the price of the boats around them are, and many of the people with the seven figure boats started off with five figure boats anyway. Agree about the size, my guess is that many people buying these will be looking to tour Europe or use them for things like motor racing support vehicles.
Size wise it’s probably the best I have seen so far but price wise it’s probably not going to appeal to many people. You can literally buy a home in Italy or even the south of France for less. It’s far too expensive for what it is and personally I’d go to America and purchase a used RV with low mileage and tons more facilities and a lot less money. Being an American citizen I don’t have to pay duties or VAT and can fill it up with any spares and shopping for free. It’s definitely worth considering and I can have dual voltage added. This is something that I have been considering as prices are falling by 40% plus and yet if cared for don’t loose their value once in Europe. Pondering 🤔
Nice , but not for the UK , no oven and habitation door on the offside , the TV in the bedroom would annoy me as looks like it gets in the way , can't have everything I guess
I doubt the market for this is people just holidaying around the UK, definitely for longer distance European trips. The fact there isn't an oven shows they really aren't thinking about us :)
I appreciate that quite a few motorhomes like this do not have ovens / grills which are quite standard fitments in the UK, but a review which does not even mention the fact that this vehicle has no cooking facilities is a very poor review indeed!
It's lovely, but I went off it when I saw the totally inept kitchen. No oven, not even a microwave to heat convenience meals up in. I'd rather have just one television set and an oven if it was a matter of finances. Was there a cutlery draw there? Perhaps it was designed by a clean male who likes a nice bathroom and who also loves watching TV, but doesn't have a clue about cooking! Clearly the large fridge was only planned for holding beer and wine in it rather than food, given that there's no real way of cooking other than just a cooking hob.
Many of the european MH’s don’t have ovens and it’s easy to add a microwave above the fridge which many use. TBH Cathago at that price new, can adapt the van to what you need. First world problems really? Fascinating you focus on the men and there problems, perhaps it might have been a lady? 😉🤣
This is a flash motor home, many things I liked about it but, not as comprehensive review that I've seen you do in the past. I didn't like no solar no generator, at least no mention of. And no telling of water capacity of water tank or black or grey tanks.
Like far too many motorhomes it is obvious to me, with nearly 30 years motorhome experience, that this is design over substance; for example a TV in the lounge only two, maximum three, people could get a comfortable view of, a toilet with no wash basin (yuk! My personal hate), no room to sit up in rear bed as cabinets in the way. At this price I would expect an electric drop bed operation. Lots of showroom glitz, which seems like normal Cathargo! I don’t mean to appear churlish but just so much is wrong.
