I think this is the perfect size boat. There aint no unnecessary spaces but it isnt too cramped.

Wow!. What an Amazing yacht, it’s beautifully furnished, love the layout with its open through living space. The hard top over the fly bridge is so sexy. And of course that engine room is just epic!, in fact I would sleep in the crew cabin just to be next to them bad boy V12s. It is very similar to the yacht you & your family chartered earlier this year (love that mini series) . Thanks for another fantastic video Nick. Nice1.

For a boat that size, its bordering on perfect (much as I love Sunseeker). Princess master cabins are a work of art, the layout is excellent, theres not an ounce of wasted space, theres a more than decent crew area and the materials choice has definitely gone up a notch over the last few years - the grey touchs are lovely. Very nice indeed, as is your presentation as always - I bet you sell a few boats indirectly.

Nick , You got me hooked on your fantastic tours of boats of all sizes . My very favorite is your 85 ft and the 78 ft boats . Perfect sizes without hardly any crew or none at all . If I were to buy a boat it would be this 78 foot boat .I have always dreamed of tiring up to the Amstel canal and running a business of my Tours out of the boat as a home for me and my office plus a full time secretary to arrange tours for me and a place for my two close friends and their children and their mates . The good size galley matters a whole lot with a large food storage fridges and freezers . I think that each guest room should have a small fridge for their snacks for a quick meal with a small microwave to go with everything . And of course a washer and dryer for everyones laundry needs . I think the boat should have a extra room for the boat maid and cook .

Only let down by the glass dining table. It wouldn’t be my choice. Everything else is fantastic. Cheers, Nick. 👍

This was your best "video filming" so far.... 16:12 minutes but I didn't want to finish. The more big your videos the more time for your relaxed style to flourish. Don't worry about editing jump cuts as long as it serves the story it is welcomed. You had a relaxed not hurry up style and your description and filming (framing of camera) was on the spot. Don't forget we like Easter eggs....secret cabinets....never enough hahaha.

The LOA doesnt matter. Is it under 24m LLL? That will determine if it can be crewed with out a commercial license in many locales.

A boat-show in THE UK in the middle of December? Hmmm. I could think of 6 other months of the year which would be more appropriate.

Probably my least favourite of the Princess boats. It still has the wasteful 2nd staircase (making the owners the only ones without access to the escape hatch), the ugly dining room area and the galley in the old fashioned position. There are not enough opening windows and the area by the helm faces backwards, On the other hand I wouldn't say no - I'd just swap it for the F62 and pocket the 1.5 million or dig into the couch for the extra million for the Y86.

was ..that a galleon off the port bow? you don't see that every day... Anyhow I think Princess has won my heart as my fav yacht designer, I really liked that Norwegian beast you posted a while back but this Princess line is just the cream of the crop really.

So the crew area / cabin 5 / laundry area / engine plant are a major win for this model. And I really wish I could appreciate the princess range but I can't forgive their poor judgement in kitchen and dinning design/layout and positioning in so many of their display models - Although you could sell me shares in sand and I wouldn't complain -

Just to clear things up, anything below 80 foot can be owner operated. But above, you would need crew?

Hi Nick, this my new favorite dream machine, like all the others I love your channel, this one is a beauty, you would need lessons with a boat this size, going into dock as you could do a lot of damage with a boat this size , three times the length of my last one . So, what is with the padded area above the washer? I could see that being a laundry table, storage for toys, etc. but padding on there makes me think that’s where I’d be sleeping after fighting with the wife

This boat..... I think this is one of the all around best boats I’ve seen on your channel. It has civilized elegance, a ton of utility, more than enough room to entertain a group or spend a number of days out with a few family and friends, and nearly a 1K mile range (if I heard that right)? Wow!

New price is a good value for this well appointed 78 foot yacht, big engines, very fast and lots of heads. Owner operated may be possible, but I'd prefer a crew of super models... ;-)

can you review the new princess v78?

Love these vlogs, but why is this Y78 at three feet longer, priced half a million dollars less than the Y75 when they appear to be identical except for the footage?

The car industry has fleets of press cars. It is similar with these lovely vessels? Would that launch model become a fleet vessel that is always used to demonstrate the model? Or is it more like a car demonstrator where it is both showed and available for sale? And would those sized boats be only built to order? Or do Princess knock out a dozen almost finished models pending final fit options?

When you get down to the crew area there is a kind of bed on the right-hand side. Not in the twin bedded crew cabin, but right between the entrance to the crew area and the engine room. What is it for?

What's behind the door on the port side of the platform? Crew quarters and engine room access in on starboard, whet's on port?

The tender must go on the swim platform? Possibly a option for a crane on the flybridge? Beautiful boat. Really love the floor plan.
