£30 for a boxed Retro console | What A Bargain 😮😮  

Pretty awesome bargain for £36 total. Can't go wrong with the PS2. Although I preferred the Xbox and GameCube overall. The PS2 is still a phenomenal console. I still consider it to be the best console to console transition ever. Going from 32bit to 128bit was a massive leap. And seeing most of the PS1 games making a next gen leap was incredible at the time. Even today the console is amazing value for money. 2 consoles in one. A CD player and of course a DVD player all in one. In 2000 is was unreal.

"Black" is a next gen shooter on the PS2. It was way ahead of it's time. It takes some practice, but it's fun once you get good at blowing stuff up.

£30 for a boxed ps2 is an absolute steal these days. It reminds of the boxed aqua blue one I bought for £30 off gumtree years ago and is still going strong today.

Amazing for £30. Such nice condition...shame about your old ps2 though. I've never played black before but it looked fantastic with the building demolition and explosions etc....especially for an old game

i guess that'll teach u to always cut away rather than towards yourself in future. 😄 For 36 quid delivered what a bargain though. Your ps2 slim is probably fixable tho, its either a dirty laser or needs a new one, if its not overheating. 🤔 You took a chance and it paid off, well done 👍

Good price. I’m looking out for a ps2, myself. I haven’t seen any for £30 yet. I got a ps3 for £40, a 360 s for £40. Just wanna get a ps2, ps1 and a Dreamcast to complete my console collection.

Absolute steal Pete you pay over double that for an unboxed PS2 in CEX. Also did you swap out the PS1 slim for the original grey model as you prefer that version of the console or had your slim developed a fault.

The box was nice... until it was bled on 😂😂 i much prefere the Phats these days. i had a slim and found that there is a fault that they can get, that scratchs the disks. one day i will play black. lol great find!

Steal that Pete and the box is in stellar condition you did super well there! you can tell if a ps2 has been cracked open there is a security seal on the bottom corner. Hahahaha at least the finger stayed on!

Nice one, I decided to bring out my modded PS3 (OG Japanese console with the hardware ps1, ps2 support) after watching and get some holiday retro goodness in.

On Beast Mode there Pete playing that first level of Black 😂 Glad the finger survived, go a bit slower in the future, can't be losing fingers for RU-vid 😂 Can't argue with that price for the PS2 can you? A real steal in that condition too. Definitely keep hold of it because getting one back at that price and in that condition will be more trouble that it's worth!

Look like you may need stitches, mate. Did that blood on the blue side of the box wipe right off? Hope it did.
