Agree with that.. this time around the entry to the crew area was a surprise... if it hadn't already been opened I doubt I'd have found it (in the video)
What a outstanding interior! Turning a yacht into an urban apartment with depth reflective ceilings and light accentuating finishes, mad props to the int designers. Impressive. Nice job as always Aquadude 👊
What a refreshing take on an unconventional layout. This has the most clever design I've ever seen for the bow stateroom. And I love the hidden TVs! Props to Pearl for thinking outside the box. That said, there are a couple minor things I would miss that could be easily fixed. A dining table in the salon (also used as a work table) and a double sink in the galley.
This boat is fantastic, I've give the interior designer props, everything was lovely the materials colors and layout. The master cabin is beautiful, and I like that offset vip
I am not used to seeing a portside helm station but this is a gorgeous boat. I am amazed at how spacious and open it is. I know i have said this before but this is by far my favorite boat.
It shines like a pearl, I like when you can see a theme running through the design, the lighting alone is striking. Usually, I feel that the big boats lose personality somehow, but not in this case, this gal has character. I'd have to win the local lottery twice just to have that..but I would .. can you imagine it as a liveaboard... amazing.
Wow. That’s the boat for me. Best layout I’ve seen so far. The design is amazing. Very stylish and subtle. Flybridge at the rear looks sparse but what an awesome boat. A snip at the price
Pearl builts absolutely stunning yachts. There built quality is top notch and in my opinion ahead of all the big European brand names in this industry. And I always deep dive behind the nice and shiny surfaces to get an impression of the real built quality. Unfortunately they built only a couple of boats a year.
Love the layout of this (and the other you’ve just been on)! Not quite sure on the blinds to the bedroom corridor as it looks a bit like one of those rented office spaces but totally get it why they did it as it brings so much light down there. Would love to see a video on the third layout option. Awesome video Nick 👍🏼
What an amazing boat!! ...after have seen this Pearl, I 'm starting to do a lot of more work...I need to have some serious money to be your client, interested in buy-it...or another one like it. I love your videos, congrats by your channel and work!! Cheers from São Paulo Brazil
Lovely boat as ever from Peal. Though it is symptomatic of the end of middle class boating. An inside source from Pearl told me it was not worth making the smaller boats any more.
Quite late reply, but US automakers long ago found it most profitable to sell big SUVs and pickup trucks rather than sedans. Gotta go where the profit leads you.
I've ever been on such a yacht as this but it looks spectacular, my question is when this is thundering along at 30+knots, does all the decorative accessories Locke table features etc have to be stored ?
Wow! I’d like to see the lounge area beside the lower helm spun and elevated to look out the front windshield. Other than that it’s one of the nicest I’ve seen so far on your channel.
Another nice video from you Nick, a little tip about the wind noise in your microphone, cover the microphone with an old sock,I have seen many cool socks on your feet. :) :)
Very impressive! I'd like that interior in my house. I know an 80 footer is a pretty big boat, but even so, they do seem to have packed a whole lot in. Great to see inside one of these luggshury beasts! P.S. A great advertisement for the fantastic craftsmen, engineers, designers etc., that create these!
anyone notice the broken sun blind at 1:30?! im here because of the youtube algorithm, 2 am on a monday night.. after watching 10 of his videos im now suitably qualified to critique thew build quality of these vessels and i tell you, that blind does not impress... 0/10 would not buy hahaha
Just when I thought that a Princess F62 was my perfect yacht, this one blows it out of the water for space, comfort, everything, and all for £3m. If I had £10m available, I wouldn't waste my money, I'd still buy this as it ticks every box and would accommodate 8-10 of us in total luxury and I wouldn't require a crew. PS. Unfortunately I don't have £3m to spend on a yacht ATM.
Another great video! Only one thing bothers me as a German: This is not a MAN Diesel! The Germans pronounce MAN like this: M. A. N. This is also the company name of the manufacturer. M. A. N. Diesel SE is a subsidiary of M.A.N. SE based in Augsburg. It went on January 1, 2010 through a merger with M.A.N. Turbo AG in the M.A.N. Diesel & Turbo SE. Among other things, the world's largest and most powerful diesel engines are produced, used primarily as a ship propulsion system, but also in power plants. In Hamburg, the M.A.N. Diesel engine plant Hamburg as a workshop for ship engines, which are serviced, overhauled and repaired there. M.A. N. Diesel has a great tradition in diesel engine construction. Rudolf Diesel completed the first diesel engine in the Augsburg plant of the then Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg AG in 1897.
really nice boat but won't fit most standard 25x6m berths in French ports as 15cm is added to the beam to account for fenders, so 5.99+0.15 is over 6m, and port authorities will check that very closely
I like to start my day with one or two of your videos, they bring a smile to my face and set up for a great day. Boating is in my family blood from grandfather and father, who had a 76 foot Hyundai yacht, it was owner operated and had no need of crew. My question here is how many crew do you need on a yacht like this? Thank you!
I hope eventually, when the companies take note of your channel, you start to get commission from the sales of these yaughts. Your videos are awesome, much better than a brochure/website.
Interior is stunning and a perfect lay out. I think this boat loses it externally, especially the foredeck which is becoming a much more important area on boats, especially destined for stern to berthing in the med. I don’t think the flybridge is as well laid out either. If I could take the interior of this, and the exterior layout of the Sunseeker 76, I think you’d have the perfect flybridge boat.
Awesome! It sorts of makes you think which is better, buying a house and lot or just buy this yacht and live in it. The advantage of living in a yacht is if you don't like the place anymore, you can just easily pack up your whole "house" and leave and look for another Marina to dock. So easy changing your address. Not the same as having a house and lot. If you don't like the place anymore, you will have to abandon and sell your old (and depreciated) house, then buy and move to another house which will cost you a lot again.
Elegant, sleek, powerful, nice interior, nice materials, looks classy. But at this size I would prefer a more conventional layout rather than a sport cruiser, I would prefer the 78 ft Granchie Settantotto. 80 Ft to me is too much for a sport cruiser.
Nick this is a stunningly finished yacht but what is your view on a boat of this size not having a proper interior dining area to comfortably seat the 8 people it accommodates? I have had my eye on the Princess 75 but the decor in this is perfect. It is the lack of interior dining provision that is putting me off.
I agree the dianette is to small! Im sure they could move the saloon seating down to the entrance of the saloon and put a dianette in front of the galley!! I really like this and only 3million pounds is super price!!
I think they are thinking that how often do you eat inside! Hardly ever alfresco is how most eat on yachts so on the odd occasion you need to eat inside their is 6 seats and thats enough! I think if you spoke to most yacht owners they would say the hardly ever use interior dianette!! Then you have huge saloon for entertaining in the evening!!
It reminds me of the azumit 80! That is my favorite yacht just sad they replaced it with the 25metri which is ugly! How good would it be for a pop up tv on the bar on the flybridge in front of the u shape seating! And a high low dining table so it becomes a second saloon out side for watching movies or sports!!
I have been on this boat on the Düsseldorf boat show. They've been telling me that the standard layout comes with a dining table instead of the bar. Then the rest of the interior is moved a bit backwards. This bar , no dining table layout has been a special wish of the new owner.
I liked most of the layout except that she has FOUR staterooms but such a small dining table up next to the captain. Yes - there's one up top but that's far from the kitchen AND on windy days like your tour (and worse if it rains), well - you're eating on the sofa like it's Friday night pizza. 😐 I like to watch these slightly older vids and to see how you got even more adept at this. 👍
This is around 2 times cheaper, than comparable Princess, so what is different or why? I do not see in this video differences, everything looks and seems to be high-quality.
Major flaw for me is the galley situated behind the helm position. Who would want someone crashing about whilst you're trying to concentrate on navigation. Not to mention the light and smell pollution. Bad idea.
Just wondering what the many sun pad areas be converted to for prospective boat owners like myself who are naturally tan (not Caucasian)? I detest sunbathing , but I do love sailing the 7 seas, everyday of my life.
@@AQUAHOLIC ı have an enterprise marin EM 600 and next week I will sell her eventually. I have no crew, I'm ferning it by myself. I have not so many options to buy. But she should be over 70 feet. Sunseeker 75 2017 ,sunseeker 76 2019 and this pearl 80 is my favourite. Pearl 95 is very stunning but it is completely out of my skills. I loved princess Y85 really. Fantastic design of a boat. But it is also out of my range. May be next step, when I 50 years old :))) I have 3 years ! My question is ...which one you would buy... sunseeker 75 - 76 ? Or this nice pearl ? (This boat is still available in mallorca with 3.5 M euro price )Princess 75 and ferretti is not my style , both interrior and exterior design. But you may advice them too...I respect. Or any boat ... advice me please. I want more options. Thank you ! Niko
I really dont like the 'studio/loft' looks for apartments at all, i think it is pretty stupid design, that said, it was clear immediately what the inspiration is, and if you like that style it is well accomplished.
There is a range of interior styles to choose from, but you're right, this is very loft living inspired which you either really like or you don't. I think it looks fresh and different, rather like it.
Doesn't it suck for the people who get an 80 footer, & can't afford an extra 5 feet. & their yacht is not a super yacht ?. Man ,I personally feel awful .
That's pretty typical for any large planing boat as they require a lot of power to push them up out of the water and plane to get the speed. You can increase the range by travelling at displacement speed (under 10 knots), but for the use most people put these boats to, 300+ is plenty.
The galley is not functional. On an overnight passage the galley is renderd obsolete. During night hours the helm is a red light area. Good luck cooking up a midnight bacon butty....
