£7 Brass Darts vs £43 Tungsten! Can you throw as well with pub darts as professional darts? 

I hit my first ever 180 last week with a set of 23g brass darts and they all grouped in the top right corner of the treble 20

Great video. Interesting to see the comparison between budget and pro level darts especially as darts are getting more and more expensive. Some times it’s hard to see the justification for dropping £70+ over a £30-ish set. Nice one. 👍🎯

If that dart went right it was always going right , you can easily 180 with a set of thick brass just takes far more use of flights to keep darts either side aiming for a deflection off the flight rather then the board itself

I loved using brass darts back in the day, only issue with the ones in my local is that they were really light

Cheap brass is good enough for a complete beginner but the more you play and the better you get you must go for tungsten, but be careful not to fall for expensive sets of darts and then discover you can't throw them ! If you find your throwing well with brass then stick to brass

I make a point 2 hit a 180 with every set of dart i get including the brass free darts that come with a new dart board

I just took up dart throwing (at home) about three weeks ago and I've been throwing cheap 22g metal darts. They came in a set of six for 15.99. I didn't have much to spend on darts that particular day but I had to get something to replace the old heavily used/abused stock darts that came with our board as a couple of them broke on the garage floor and playing with one dart at a time was not very fun. The ones I purchased definitely look and feel sturdier which is great for just screwing around in the garage with friends/family but they also seem kind of heavy and harder to throw. This doesn't seem to be an issue for my husband maybe because he is taller and bigger than me in general, but I feel like I have to throw them differently to achieve adequate thrust to make it to the board. I bought them with the intention to "try them out" and "get by for now" until the money came through to get a couple more (higher quality) sets. I'm going to try out a set of Red Dragon Amberjack Tungsten steel tip darts as they've received pretty rave reviews, I'm just struggling to decide what weight I ought to go with.

Quality content once again buddy. I've never been in a pub were the three brass darts were the same, it's always two huge ones and a smaller one. Never been the same set oddly. Argos have Winmau Navigators for £7.99-14.99 depending on their sale. Unbelievable value for money. I use a set of Rebel darts by RedDragon that are £16.50. Tried the Thornton's but they weren't quite right for me. I wanted them to be because they look class but it just didn't work for me.

Just started darts again, I played when i was 15-18 with mates in our garages. Just picked up a board for the kids after the Worlds and decided to start playing a bit. I've thrown a couple of 180's so far, but just bought some new tungsten ones. Can't wait to see more of those beds.

Good beginners darts that are £4 more than them brass darts winmau navigators

Strangely ive always played better with brass darts.
