We needed a bigger car, didn't want to get into car finance again so decided to see what working, safe family car with 8 seats we could find for around £1500. After realising that anything like the i800 Hyundai was out of budget and didn't like anything Japanese we found this C8 Citroen, the only trouble was it was the other side of the country!!!!

I bought a Peugeot version 807 on O9 plate for £900 few month ago, had 9months Mot 110k on clock..its a bit tatty but i love it. 😊

@@TheRetroBiker mine hasn't just a basic S model but it's a work horse & I've never been into pointless gadgets'n'stuff it's big & comfy to drive on long trips with decent fuel economy so ticks all the boxes for me

Ive just got rid of my old C8. She was a good old motor. I had it for about 7 years. Went down to the South if France in it. I removed a couple if seats which I didnt need. Overall it was a good car for me. They are a little bit sluggish but they are a heavy car. I had an Auto which was a bit juicy and the car tax was high. Was sad to see it go and will miss the space. They have multiple uses.

Ah it's brilliant, like you say a bit slow though. I'm sure mine has an issue that's restricted it, the eml light is now a permanent feature ha ha. I think it's the MAF, I cleaned it when I did the air filter and the EML disappeared, few months later it's back though.

I hate going to busy places! I live in a nice quiet place and that's the way I like it! The wife is good at it she's used to the metro in Russia!

I'm not used to it either. If it wasn't for having such sort times in between the changes I'd have been ok, if I had to do it again I'd be a lot more chilled now it's familiar 😂

Hey, terrible. There were a lot of little faults then the aux/alt belt pully went so we just sold it. I've had one in the past though and it was a great car so no reflection on the C8s in general, this was just a tired example

Yes, that was my first though. Having owned one before though I know you can fit quite a few, even with it full loaded with brats there's still room for bike or two 😂👍
