I think you need to hire an octopus assistant 🤣Really nice machine though. But when will they ever install jacuzzis? Maybe a jacuzzi that morphs into a water bed at the push of a button 😃
Another beautiful motorhome inside and out with great packaging and comfort features! Loving these reviews of yours Nick please do keep them coming! Great job!
Hi Nick, A intresting show with this Wildax Aurora Leisure XL and i like the color outside a real couples camper van but can travel 3 people and also sleep 3 great good size kitchen for a van a nice size bathroom in the middle Thanks Nick a great show 👍👍👍👍👍
With home builds looking stunning nowadays i think manufacturers need to step it up! See how stiff them 90's rollers were.. personally for 82k I'd expect some more premium materials and innovation.
I much prefer the European style campers with the fixed beds giving storage underneath for things like awning, paddle boards, ramps, chairs, outside table etc! In reality you need this stuff out of the way when going away and in most cases the two front seats swivelling round and tv, kitchen location gives a really comfy lounge area, not really making a rear lounge a necessity especially with the big sliding door and fly screen for evening and awning access. That’s my thoughts anyway!
I bought a brand new Wildax Europa just over two years ago it was my first motor home but I sold it within a year because all the materials inside were cheap. The catches were fragile the mechanisms for the drawers were the same, and even the bed supports broke on my first day. My next motorhome was a second-hand German Hymer but it is completely the opposite total quality and comfortable.
I would've put the power and aerial sockets for the TV in the wall at the front of the bed area at the back of the van, and pre-installed a wall mount, but aside from that, it's very impressive.
3500kgs is the gross weight of the vehicle I assume. The trouble is once your bits and bobs are added (including driver weight and fresh water storage) then the vehicle could be edging towards 3800 to 4000kgs thus requiring a C1 license!
If only Wildax had sought your opinion first. They could have saved themselves the time, effort and money of building this for a market which, according to you, doesn't exist. The same goes for all the other makers of campervans, which sell in their tens of thousands. Gosh, the sad delusions of all those people who buy them, eh?
Touch a nerve did I? Very sorry for saying that in my opinion they’re too much money for little return. I hope you have a nice day, I will try not to ruin it by making any further innocent comments about my thoughts of a campervan and its price.
I’m always intrigued by manufacturers assuming every potential owner needs a full sized oven when a hob and microwave is sufficient for most. Personally I’d rather have a washing machine or at least the choice, it’s something I see lacking throughout the industry.
I was all set to purchase a new Wildax Solaris as my mate has one, he was experiencing a cold spot in the van around the sliding door area and couldn't understand it.......until he had to take the door card off the inside of the slider to repair the lock and discovered zero insulation! The response he got from the dealer was not at all helpful so he contacted Wildax direct and faired little better. so after insulating the door himself his attention turned to the rear doors, and the piddling little bit of insulation fitted to those put me off from placing an order for the then £87k van......
I think this is a mixed blessing, the size means you can drive it on a normal license. The only drawback is that it’s a compromise with a few things like only taking 3 people. I do think having the microwave oven and grill is a bit unnecessary as you could get a combination microwave and the space freed up with that could be used for extra storage, which is a bit limited on a vehicle like this. Handy for getting out and about as it were.
It's lovely and it also has a decent kitchen with room for food preparation and a microwave as well as an oven. I can't work out whether the shower door goes all the way around and stops the whole bathroom from getting wet, or if it is a 'wet-bathroom' (which I loathe). Which one is it? It is very nice though, even if you do have to wipe down the entire bathroom after showering.
I looked forward to your latest video, riding with the Silver arrows, but unfortunately "This video contains content from SME, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds" rather disappointed.
It has copyrighted music which normally is okay, it just means that any advertising revenue goes to the copyright holder (fair enough). However in this instance, they've just blocked the whole video. It's an old one from years ago that I found on an old drive, so not much I can do about changing the soundtrack, sadly.
Nice machine. Wildax have seen sense in having gas bottles. Underslung is bad news given scarcity of lpg vendors in many areas. Take note other manufacturers.
Diesel electric for heating and hot water is the way forward. Just have gas for cooking. The new bailey endeavour is the right way to go. Fuel stations supplying LPG are on the way out in favour of much more profitable EV charging points. The dealership sales staff won't tell you this though. When will elddis stop doing the CV range with underslung tanks !!
@@MOTAHOLIC Not a particular professional response to a genuine question about the configuration of the van. I looked at the U.K.’s largest car selling site and struggled to find any vans with three seats so its obviously its an unpopular and strange configuration. Plenty with just two many more with 4/5. I can’t think of any situation where someone would require three seats. As an estate agent for over 37 years I have made enough money to be able to retire in my mid 50s because I treated my customers with respect. Obviously your response shows why you’re still working at your age and I would be more than happy to give you the benefit of my experience and teach you how to deal with comments in a respectful and professional way. That lesson is for free, for anything else there will be a small charge.
@@Cupidstuntfc So if you had a customer looking at a two bedroom house and saying 'but what if I need a three bedroom house' what would have been your response to them? 😄 By the way, I don't have any customers, After 20 years as a yacht broker, I was able to retire from that game in my forties as I was rather good at it... 🙂
@@MOTAHOLIC You must’ve have been the luckiest broker in the world or inherited a lot of money from rich parents if your responses is to double down on your original post. Firstly, the analogy doesn’t work reference a two bedroom and three bedroom house. Secondly the correct response would’ve been ‘yes it isn’t a usual layout but that configuration does suit older couples who maybe don’t have kids and want more than two seats’. There you go 2 more free bits of advice, this is your lucky day. Not going get into top trumps with you about who retired earlier but I retired 10 years later than expected due to the subprime crash of 2008 and having to buy myself out of 3 properties. Doesn’t make me any less successful.
As usual, at least £10k overpriced, and all for the inconvenience of a horrible bed and nowhere to put anything like folding bikes, picnic table and chairs, etc.
