Yes, Mark, it's a challenge for any company. It was set up here, at Theatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro in 1961 and even today we ask ourselves how we managed to dance such a difficult ballet. @@michguy1019 Michguy, I danced Étude in 1960 and 1961 with Ballet of Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro assembled by Harald Lander himself. We danced manytimes this fantastic ballet danced by Tatiana Leskova, Aldo Lotufo and others first dancers of the company and once by Claude Bessy and Attilio Labis.

@@elianacaminada Dear Eliana,thank you, very much for your answer, Knudåge Riisager was my grandfather and he worked very close with Harald Lander in developing the music (inspired by Czernys pianoetudes) to this ballet.

Unfortunately, full versions of ballets are not always posted with good image. But at least the record remains. And I had to negotiate copyrights, even though the channel was not monetized. A hug.

@@elianacaminada I am sorry if you misunderstood anything when it comes to my grandfathers music, but it is not the correct description of the music in Etudes.The composer is Knudåge Riisager,inspired by Czerny.That is an important difference.
