Won a free tandem flight while at the Asena Beach hotel, Olu Deniz, in 1996... So inspired by the experience, I learned to fly my own paraglider back here in the UK... Stunning cinematography Mick. Among the very best from Babadag on RU-vid.

This is why it's been a familey and personal favourite place to come for over 20 years for me. I'm 34 now and have been to hisaronu, olu denize, fethiye, Marmaras, icmiler, all from a young age of 14. Turkey is such a beautifull place and the Turkish people are so humble, hard working and helpfull people. If you have never been please go ! You will not regret it. Next here in 2022 sept with now my own children.

Mick really loves Turkey....As a nation we usually conditioned for British people are the most arrogant nation in the world over the years that turned out to be not true actually British are the most humble, down to earth, polite people from West...They are adventurist, brave, understanding people...Respect!

Mick and Trudy Thank you so much for your wonderful videos, my partner and I came across your videos doing a bit of research on where to go in Turkey, and we thought you might like to know that we have just returned (June 22) from our trip and what a most wonderful trip it was. We took your advice and flew like birds over Ölü Deniz. It was the most wonderful feeling in the world. We ended up staying for the rest of the day to just watch paragliders over us until the evening. It was fantastic watching them land on the beach. Ölü Deniz is a paradise alright. When I went there in 2018 top of Babadağ was soil but now I see they put cobblestones and did it prettier. It was a bit scary that time, thank you for the video :)

As a Turkish person who is currently living in the UK, I would like to thank you from my heart and on behalf of my beautiful country for your efforts and support. However, what is really ironic is that I guarantee 70% of the Turkish population in Turkey can't afford any of those activities being shared. I hope one day, the government will realise that there are millions (mostly families) in the country who can't even reach to amazing things like, history, places, activities, etc. as they are making less than 500 quid per month in 21st century.

So good to see Olu Den again. Our favourite holiday destination since we started going there in 2000. It's true, the flight from Babadag is a treasured lifetime memory. My flight felt so natural, so smooth (sighs ). Come the evening, sitting on the top floor of "Harry's" bar with an Efes or a cocktail looking over the bay and the trip boats watching the Sun go down is a delight (sighs again). Thanks Mick for another gorgeous film of Olu' ,you're a lucky guy to live there (I presume). We shall be back.

Amazing resort with the blue sea and main strip at night…paragliding overhead all day long watching them land on the beach bar is epic. Olu Deniz is paradise. Another favourite is Saragerme , if you have an upload on this area that would be fantastic Mick 🙏🇹🇷

Went there on my Honeymoon many years ago. Much has changed.

Was there in Fethiye in July with daughter and son-in-law ( They stay in Izmir, he is Turkish, best person i know ) we had one best times ever in Fethiye. Did not do the gliding but so many above us while we were swimming. Second year in a row visiting Turkey. Will go once a year. What a beautiful and safe country you have. Myself and daughter are South Africans

Wow, Mick! Your best video yet. Brilliant filming, editing and commentary. I live in the foothills of Babadag and can see the paragliders from my house. Always a wonderful sight. I haven't done the jump yet but my Mum did a few years ago when she was 80! Thanks again for showing the world how beautiful my hometown is.

I was in tears when i was watching this video as i cant be there but today with this amazing video i felt like i was there and i was flying . I did this 2 days ago. Equally terrifying and exhilarating. My pilot was fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone. The ride on the minibus to the top of the mountain was like something out of The Italian Job though!!
