In a gig with Steve Vai I listened Tony play a guitar lick that amazed me so much for its beauty and strength that I still remember that feeling. I thought Steve looked at him like "that's too much, I'm the star" haha probably my imaginations. Amazing musician.

T-Mac is one of those rare talents that come along every once in a while; technically proficient at TWO instruments! Great tone and taste,I like ALL of his stuff from the first to the current. As guitarists we all can learn something from T-Mac!! Keep practicing everyone!! Peace.

Wow, some of the coolest work I've heard him do since the late 80's. Very modern, but still very much the T Mac sound. There's even a slight nod to Max Security. Love it!

Sure. There is only one god on guitars: Tony! Anyone still faltering should listen to Salar De Uyuni, incredible playing skills and almost incredible to compose. This guy gives me bumps since his first album back then in the middle of the 80ies.

The new album is a TRIUMPH! It's incredible. Everything he's been involved with in the last ten years is on this album as well as a few wonderful surprises. I was in tears listening to it because I am 1 of his most faithful fans. He changed my life with his playing and dedication to the craft.

MacAlpine is no rookie, he's been at this for a long time and continues to be a force in high talent guitar shredding, I first heard him in M.A.R.S. ...definitely an influence on me :-

The segment from 0:30 to 1:02 is such a beautiful part thematically and melodically! I wish he had revisited it more in this tune...

Mr. Macalpine has created such inovative album in terms of composition. It sounds 'high tech' and at the same time dramatic. - I think it´s nice 'cause he´s not repeating himself...

A lot of people think Yngwie Malmsteen is one of the greatest guitarists ever, but I think T-Mac runs rings around Yngwie because T-Mac has both technical skill AND good songwriting. Yngwie has a lot of technical skill, but most of his songs are either really cheesy or one-dimensional shredding that gets old fast.

Funny thing is, Tony started in neo-classical, the same place Yngwie took over about 5 years before T-Mac got known. I personalyl think Tony does NeoClassical better than Yngwie does. Yngwie is all ego, one trick (sweep arpeggio) pony. Tony is a true musician.
