You walked into an old abandoned house It had been years since the outbreak started and now... Everyone was gone. You saw an old piano standing in the corner and you made your way to it. You removed the dust and rubble from the lid and opened it. It reminded you of the piano classes you used to take all those years ago. You pressed a key... It was a bit out of tune, but it would still work. A familiar tune flowed from your brain and into your hands, And so... You played. The memories started to creep up on you. Of something that was but will never be ever again. Memories from a distant past. When you pressed the final key, You could hear it ring out for some seconds. You got up from the piano and walked out the way you came. Snowflakes were falling from the sky. As white as sugar. One landed on your tounge. You flinched and smiled, just for a moment. You picked up your backpack... It felt... Lighter for some reason. You shrugged it off and walked out into the distance. You turned around only to see a wall of snow and fog. The house was long gone. Shielded from your view by the snowfall.

I reckon you can try!! I’ve always sort of been self taught but I’m a leftie so I assumed that piano would be difficult to learn/ re-learn. But, I learned a one minute cover of a song from one of my favourite albums in about a month, and now I’m trying to learn more songs! My tips are to start by learning the entire melody from start to finish (quicker with a shorter song), using both hands if you need, then sync the harmony/s to the melody. Start with something small (and a song you really like/ that is meaningful to you, so you’re motivated to learn it) and be patient with yourself. Hope this helps!! 🫶

this music captures the soul quite well got to a point where i want to stay dreaming rather reality. ok maybe not, but parts of me forget where i am sometimes when you notice dreams can be anything you want, dreaming lost ones, flying in a spaceship that's against logic, dreaming a life that captures your mind and emotions of what you love, a gateway then what reality gives. dreams are like watching a movie of wherever it takes you, ether you forget or capture it as its own book of memories to treasure.
