Škoda Octavia Steering Wheel removal How to
BE SURE !!!!!!!!!! to disconnect the battery terminal , turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key, before disconnecting or connecting the airbag.
This Channel is made as a reminder when making minor repairs or providing information about vehicles.

You.have some Great videos. I have a Skoda Octavia mk2 Estate 2l 2006(2055 plate) and I'm having trouble taking off the Clock steering spring toget to the indicator and windscreen wiper stalks. Its the one with the yellow sticker on the right hand side below the spring housing. I've removed the little screw in top centre. But I can't seem to get it to come off and I don't want to damage anything. Because knowing my luck it'll cost the earth to replace.. if you could do a video please it'll be awesome. Thankyou

Is it necessary to disconnect the battery? I saw a video where he just grabbed the keys so the ignition was off

you can do it like that because the ecu does not have a power supply without contact. BUT!! In some crazy variation on that theme, it's possible for the capacitors to remain energized and record an error or something worse.
