Α Portrait of the "Old Reliable": AEG IC. 

AEG IC2000N DMUs where first introduced in the Hellenic Rail Network in 1989. The first DMUs had 4 cars and started serving on Athens-Thessaloniki-Alexandroupolis line as the first ever IC rail services in Greece. The change they brought in the network was tremendous as the journey duration and the quality of traveling was upgraded. In 1995 a second part of 5-car DMUs arrived in Greece establishing the AEGs as the flagships, creating the ideal conditions for further modernization. This video i s an artistic tribute to the old reliables of the network during their last years of service on the main line, on local trains (unfortunately). Their internal and external condition was ultimately abandoned and now they are facing total withdrawal.
