Would you bother using this with the Mark Levinson 9505 since they have a built in DAC is there any point? Thanks!

No, I wouldn't. This DAC/Amp is meant for headphones that don't already have a builtin DAC.

I mean, its going to sound good, that Gryphon is a higher end portable DAC. You'll hear plenty of detail in the treble and should get some nice bass out of it too.

@@ZadiusTech I returned the ifi Gryphon because the Dan Clarks picked up interference even when the IE match switch was moved. I thought personally the Gryphon was quite low build quality - the Fiio Q7 was the answer to everything. There is no comparison - the Fiio Q7 wipes the floor with the ifi Gryphon. IMHO. Yes it's like a brick, but the battery life is fantastic and the output levels can be completely controlled. It's a Monster, a Beast.

When I connect mt Dan Clarks in to the ifi Gryphon via 4.4 Balanced, I always get distortion. Whats going wrong. Also, is there any DAC / Amp better for those Headphones? Thanks

Make sure you have IEMatch off, and set the gain setting to the lowest. Maybe your headphones have a higher sensitivity.

I think that's the problem - headphones have higher sensitivity. I think the Fiio Q15 will be better, I think I will sell the ifi Gryphon. Thanks

Hey man i dont know if you will see this but, you used to do vids about what to do if you cant start your ps4 , well i have that right now but its the 10.01 update and idk of theres anything i can do.. or if i just have the wrong cable, so if you see this please tell me .. i rlly dont wanna lose everything 😕
