@ilyashvets OK. Is there any chance that any of these videos can have English subtitles added to them? I know a lot of people who served with me in the USAF who are interested in aerospace, however they are put off watching a lot of these videos because we have no idea what is being said. I also like to watch a lot of the Soyuz, Progress, and Proton prep and launch videos as well, but whenever they start interviewing people we miss out on whatever they are talking about.

@GreenDrake1 How do you "Google Translate" a video? Subtitles and closed captioning have to be added to the video. Assuming of course that you are referring to the previously received text comment, I translated that using an online tool and already replied to it this morning. At that time, I was mainly aggravated that I had clearly stated that I don't read Russian and then I get an immediate reply in Russian... It's not very observant of the conversation.

I don't speak or read Russian, however that's not 'Buran' it's the Mig 105, part of the 'Spiral 50/50' project. Why is it that every video that could use closed captioning in English never has it? I would like to know what is being said.

@tvroscosmos I actually took the time to translate this online, which resulted in: "I recommend to study Russian. Many astronauts know it." My response is "The percentage of astronauts that speak it doesn't constitute a compelling reason to expend the energy". Don't alienate people taking in an interest in the subject of aerospace because they aren't from your country. I don't expect to have to learn Mandarin Chinese in order to understand what is being said about the "Shenzhou".

Your reply isn't clear, so I don't know why the additional video would be, as no doubt it is in Russian. You apparently didn't get the point about alienating your possible viewing audience. If you don't care about this, then I truly have no desire to argue about how everyone should learn Russian because it's popular in your country with cosmonauts.
