Whatever I do, I leave a mark. Do I?
If I am on the ground, it is a furrow in the soil, a scar on the rock, a sign on the tree. It stays as much as the elements may rehabilitate it.
If I am on the water surface, my mark won't last. Simple splash that water would vanish with its movement right away.
If I am in the air, I have no impact at all unless I don't pollute it.
Is my doing so important? So solid. Is nature asking me to leave a trace of my being? Does it remember a deer in the forest that has passed away since a new one is coming?
So much fuss of the importance to do, to achieve, to become. And so little peace of just being...
