congrats on having such a popular channel and for your efforts in making these vlogs. Here are some suggestion to make future ones even better - 1)since your channel is popular, I assume a lot of youngsters follow you - please be responsible and wear some riding gear in your videos. RE showrooms have plentiful for you to choose from. 2)you have an impressive video/audio gear list, and since you are an avid RU-vidr, at least spend some time & boost up your riding skills and road safety knowledge to an equally propotionate level- they can save somebody's life someday! I counted at least 10 unsafe riding manoeuvres in this video alone! 3)The UCE Classic 350 has EFI - it doesn't have a carburettor! (6:04) Keep up the good work, please don't take it the wrong way - kudos to you for the effort - my intention is to promote safe riding habits amongst young Indians and in the process to help you churn out higher quality content! Ride safe and ATGATT!

The Classic 350 on sale new in Australia today is fitted with a carburettor, may be market dependent. The Bullet 350 is EFI.

Hi, Now you dont have to worry about you new Enfield because i bought RE Electra in OCT, 2010. Only 38k KM till date. i drive it only on weekends. Except installing butterfly leg guard i did not change anything in my RE. No major repairs till date, only speed meter changed, battery changed twice. Getting mileage around 36kmpl. So Brother, Just enjoy the ride of your RE, take her to the service center on time then she will be yours forever. Hard earned wisdom. I've a Pulser 150 (2003 made) running strong and good. Recently I have fitted electric starter along with the electrical system. I'm quite satisfied with the functioning over last 3 month.

When you change the muffler to a low restriction type and change the air filter you must change the jets in the carburettor to richer size as the engine will breathe more freely. With my 350 with a megaphone muffler and cone style air filter I have changed the pilot jet two sizes richer, and the main jet two sizes bigger. The engine uses slightly more fuel but the power increase is amazing, plus the engine runs much cooler and quieter.

I hv seen Enfield bullet 350, since my childhood in early 80s. we had a 1982 model bullet. as I grew up in early 90s and started riding early, I v seen Enfield as a mediocre bike. every month for 1 reason or other it used to go to mechanic. if it's raining, ur bike won't start, sprocket wear every 6 month, poor head lamp, high weight, noisy, crude, like a vibrating bike. later I am happy user of honda n suzuki, which r smooth, refined, decent and loyal bikes.

I'm using pulsar 150, 2006 model, ran 63000+kms..still it gives milage of 80-90kms for 100rs petrol. 1.3ltr petrol, not even single problem, no change in clutch plate, bore, nothing... Even mechanic is asking my bike. Such a wonderful old bike...but still i keep is new... U r ryt...stock is really good

It's sad to know what you have been through ! I appreciate you for opening up and telling the truth regardless of what your viewership would think about you . Respect that bro. I personally think , a properly researched modding is the way to go . With a huge aftermarket accessory ocean for RE , it's easy to get lost , get confused and end up in a bad buying decision , a well thought mod will certainly improve the bike . RE bikes are not at their peak when it comes from the factory . Calculated weight reduction and researched modding can do wonders . I am sure Prajesh knows what I mean. Think the bike you own as a part of you and as brother said , think twice before you mod. ! Peace

i had a Thunderbird before, i am riding royal enfield since i was in 8th class. i never used to care about the mechanism because i was a child, after i bought a Thunderbird i got a chance to know better, i told my mechanic who then made me know better. i rode my Thunderbird for close to about 1.4lakh km, in 3 years, then the standard 500 came. my separation with my Thunderbird was rather emotionally charged (i practically cried) then the same day i bought a standard 500. but one thing is true KEEPING THE MECHANICAL PART STOCK WILL IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF THE BIKE AND STOCK BIKE STAYS GOOD FOR EVER, ACCESSORIES ON WHAT IS NEEDED!

What an interesting and informative video mate! I'm Australian and have travelled to India twice so far and shall return in October to ride the Northern areas...on a Royal Enfield of course! We have a very broad range of RE here with the most popular being the Continental GT cafe racer styled machine, although the price here is around $10000 AUD. The cheapest is the 350 Classic at $6500 AUD. Most people use them as a city bike, and they are very popular amongst the 'Hipster' or 'cool' younger generation. Thanks again for your great video and you now have a Western Australian fan and subscriber 😎

You gave a true opinion. The new bikes have been made for commercial purposes and not for prestige as it did in the days. I Kustom paint bikes and re-design enfield's for a living correction not modify but re-design. Modifying any bike changes the specification and adds load to the vehicle. I've been on a mission to review all enfield videos on RU-vid and Out of all them yours is genuine while others just didn't know what they yapping about . So cheers 🍻 to you buddy and good luck 🍀👍

You said everything well. I have been using royal Enfield for the last 17 years. I used standard model up to 2014 then I bought classic 350. Honestly saying my old standard was awesome compared to classic. But my humble suggestion is that do not do more alterations on your machine especially on engine, electrical and any thing that affect the central gravity of the bike. Stock silencer is the perfect one for your engine performance, durability and milage.

Very well said bro. I also own a classic 350. I had started changing thngs and putting new accessories in the market. And believe me it started giving problem. Changed my stock silencer to bazooka bt somehow it feels like the engine is craving for power. And finally i decided to keep my bike as stock as possible.. and its running perfectly fine now. Wat the company gives we cannot make better than that. Thumbs up to this video. Remember we learn from our mistakes. Caring for our bike is good bt if we start overdoing it.. it becomes a pain in the ass

I am a proud owner or Royal Enfield classic 350. I bought it om 3rd march 2017. And its lagoon. When i used to drive on my bike, and stop in my friend circle,,,may free advises begins to come from my friend. One says plz change this old mirrors and get fitted with latest mirror ( to which i simply shook my head) and other says change the spoke rim to mac wheel !!!! and change the silencer and wrap a black cotton tape around the silencer. But i did nothing....... the bike is as it was the first day i had bought. Only this i car was to wash the bike regularly and regular servicings. Ans i alway keeps a record on petrol consumption by reserve to reserve method. And i gets around 40-42 Kms / litre milage. thats pretty good. I am a kind of a person who is interested to keep the bike or car in its original condition. I am against of changing to mac wheel. Royal enfield is a classic bike and its loooks is on its spoke wheels and antic mirrors. Never ever mess with electrical wiring by adding extra lights and horns and cutting the original wires to make a connection to new accessories. The only thing i dont like with the royal enfield is the workmenship of its transmission system. In todays modern era, where tecnology had made a huge advance, the perfomance of transmission system of Royal enfield looks under average.I had a hyubdai make 1200 cc car and its transmission is very smooth like butter which can be operated with one finger. The gear shifting is very disgusting and make craking sound when it is not press hard ( due to which gears slipps). When this happens first time i thought some thing ad broken in gear box. I went to dealer and said the problem. The technician say that in between every gear there is a neutral!!!. Since its engine is big ( 350CC) you have to press hard for gear shifting. MY SUGGESTION TO ROYAL ENFIELD IS TO IMPROVE THE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR SMOOTH OPERTAION.

Rightly said, in my whole life i hadn't modified a single thing in my scooter, bike or car. 1-It saved me a lot of money. 2-The video maker lost 1.4 lakhs on 2 bikes. The cost of new RE 350 is 1.4 lakh. 3-All my vehicles look clean & unique, because almost all vehicles are now modified for beautification. 2-All my vehicles are legal as per RTA. Any modifications means we need permission from Road Transport Authority. By the way i ride a classic 350 with RE off road silencer since last 4 yrs with no issues. 50+ kmpl. Patience will pay a lot if one practices, be patience, buy just what you need & don't hurry. You will get more out of life with less money.

Hi Buddy, I have never modified in my Classic 350 except one LSD extra light. My bike was 2013 model and I spent money for travel around 750km radius from Bangalore. My Classic 350 gave 40km/Lit. My thought is quite different 1. for traveling and 2. RE Engineer :) . Thanks that you are back on RE and lessen for others what you have gone throes. Keep Thumping

i have a red rooster silencer and a k&n air filter on my tb500 for the past 15000 km and it hasn't given me any problems. The short bottle sold in pune has many issues and each city has a different supplier as they are locally made. So i recommend red rooster as it is a national brand and the quality is supreme and constant nationwide.

Very sorry to hear your story man. From what I hear, Classic 350 is a very troublesome bike. My friend had a 2015 cl350 (21k kms), which suddenly started emitting a loud noise from the crank. The Service executive at the showroom he purchased the bike said that it was a manufacturing defect common to most cl350's manufactured in 2015 and that the issue is usually noticed after 60k km's. Since the bike was out of warranty my friend had to shell out close to Rs 30,000 which would take his overall cost to 2 lacs (He's made no modifications, all were engine repair costs.). He's decided to sell his Classic and buy a new bullet. I myself own a Bullet 500 marsh grey (Thanks to you & Enfield Rider) and after 11k km's it's a peach of a bike. Thank You for your videos.

even I have a 2014 Bullet 500 ... I did a mistake of removing the manual decompressor from timing wheel to reduce the noise and now when I fitted it again it's giving me trouuble... playing around with carburettor and electricals is not good.... and also never open your engine unless it's absolutely nessecary. I went to using a short bottle exhaust with 3 filters inside which gives about 30kmpl in city and 43 kmpl on highway also it's sound is quite decent just like older bullets. I never changed to alloy wheels ...kept it stock wheels and seat etc etc. Believe me the motorcycles assembled in RE factory are done precisely and if we tamper with the seals and parts it will give us trouble . If you treat your ride good it will go a long long way.... I'm keeping mine for a lifetime and will hand it over to my kids one day after I get married first lol......

much appreciated sir.... you making this video also taught many young riders that not every modification is good , it takes a brave man to admit his mistakes openly . Nowadays there are various shops who sell various accessories to young kids and make money..... hope they'll learn from your video .

I also have a Classic 350 Silver......my elder bro bought he did some minute modifications like seat cover and silencer bt no engine touching......my bike is giving me an avg. of 25-29 in the city itself.....also i m doing servicing from authorised service centre and i myself clean the chain of the bike every 500km and re lubricate it with re chain lubricator.......its that only how you handle your bike.....even rash driving also harms your bike's engine durability......i have seen sometimes even you also pull d accelerator like anything.......thats all from my side

Great One..! Loved it Dude.. Currently I own a CBZ Xtreme and planning to buy STD 350. The reason is it's Vintage Look, No Disk - No Self Start.. The only Modification which I would Do is to change it's Silencer to a decent Indori/Short Bottle which makes more authentic..! :)))))))))))))))

Great video. TY for you honesty & sharing your experiences. i know that a lot of other motorcyle companies bikes are considered much better than Royal Enfeild in terms of preformance vs. engine size but Royal Enfeilds can be worked on by their owners vs. new bikes which have to be worked on by the dealerships. Dont feel bad as many people go through the same learning curve in every country across the whole world. I wanted to ask if the royal enfeild 350 engine can be upgraded to a 500 if the owner changes the cylinder, piston, head, valves & springs & cam ? perhaps the connecting rod as well? any information would be appreciated. TY & I wish you many years of safe & fun riding.

Thank you for so quickly letting me know about the engine mods as I very much want to get an enfeild as they are beautiful in my opinion. Never worry about learning curves as all people experience them ( including myself ) , it is rare that people will admit to them, by you doing so shows that you are honest with yourself & with your channels viewers & ALL your viewers notice this & appreciate it. Thank you again & I hope you are getting to enjoy riding now as it is late winter where I am & I am still only dreaming of the day where it becomes warm enough & there is no snow on the roads so it isnt dangerous to be riding. TY & keep up the good work, I have subscribed to your wonderfull channel.

Bro your insight about the classic was really helpful!, Just wanted to know wht all pre delivery checks needed to be performed before buying a RE , specially STD 500 ! I have booked a Std & delivery will be in 2 mths here in Mumbai . If possible can you make a video on this topic & also details about how to maintain the bike at every stage of its life as you have done flawlessly !! .. will be very helpful! ..

What is the problem you faced with FZ-S bro that you sold within 20 days?! I had a FZ-16 for 5 years without any major problem until I bought my Bullet Standard 350. I liked the FZ-16 so much, but I love my Bullet Standard 350!!

Good story bro... and its your hard luck!!! Thank You for sharing this.. Its your learning with your mistakes... no fault of RE Classic.. I am also using the same hunk and same color as well.. didn't play much on its modification and all.. so I am pretty satisfied with looks, mileage and overall performance.. Cheers to all RE owners :)
