The thing here is that there are multiple studios/teams working. While one game of the franchise is being brought to the mass, the other one's been in the work for years already. Same story with games like CoD, thats how they manage to bring out a game every year. But I agree, even though its kinda annoying, it really helps getting things done.

Syndicate was alright. Just not enough to motivate me to complete it. That's never a good thing so I hope it doesn't repeat with this title.

origins wasnt a top tier game. They reduced the stealth a lot, it's pitiful now. And they provided you a beautiful map that you couldnt explore even after 20h in the game without desyncing. Gonna make it quick- garbage stealth, constant glitches, microtransactions, restricting exploration, occassional dumb rpg elements that shouldnt be there. I love the game, and im playing it rn, which is why I'm watching this. But not a masterpiece at all

Adis Karic Yes they did. They spent four years making this one. That's how long it took to make AC3 and ACU. Which is quite funny actually.

If that's true then it still doesn't matter, they still had an extra year to prepare for the release and launch of this game. other games were on yearly releases which meant they didnt have time to focus on the launch, which can be important. Also, they probably had much more staff working on this game, since they skipped a year.

Kre no it’s really not like every ac ever. The side quest actually make sense, unlike the random collectibles snd such in past ac games. The combat system is totally different. It actually requires some effort to battle people. In past ac games, all you would do is mash the attack button and parry when the red exclamation point pops up. The graphics are astonishing as well

It's really not that bad she had an early copy for review. I've played the game for about 2 days straight without any glitches. Honestly feel like a father whose watched his child finally grown up Ubisoft outdid themselves with this one.

Good thing most the side quests aren’t that terrible. Some are repetitive but have a slightly different narrative which is nice to have especially in comparison to earlier games where it was literally the same thing.

same thing i was thinking, she sounds like a rookie. You don't just play through the rpg story line without venturing into other side missions to build your character into a God of a player.

On the bright side, the sidequests are much more interesting now. But I can see how the level requirements would be annoying for someone that only cares about the main storyline.

I hear you im playing on nightmare mode, with out the level req. and it seems challenging enough to where if I do it'll become a completely different game, enemy skill wise.

It has the same very offensive style to it if you use fast weapons or swords, just has different inputs and animations, assassinating at the end of a combo is just a type of super move now

There is a spinoff series of AC called Assassin's Creed chronicles. Its a trilogy that consists of AC Russia, AC India, and AC China. However these games are 2.5D platformers so they aren't very similar to the other games in the franchise. But it's better than nothing!
