Just to point out, at 5:12, the DNA strands will migrate towards the POSITIVE electrode and not the negative electrode as shown in the video.

I think he mentioned here wrongly. DNA is negatively charged it moves toward positive electrode only.positi ve electrode in bottom and negative electrode in top.
