I installed a different suspension today on my Ninebot Max, purchased ($135) from Carter Nordium of Nordbot. The install instructions found on RU-vid made the install simple and easy. I’m returning it for full refund because of 2-3 mm wobble. It’s a manufacturing defect or design flaw. I’ll try the Sharkset or Monorim for superior designs. There was lack of post sales support when product arrived with missing nuts/bolts. I’m sharing this so others can avoid headaches of doing business with Carter Nordium, or Kimberly Davis (the one who gets your money/PayPal’s recipient on PayPal) at the Nordbot Store (Nordium).

This is wrong. You need the ring and spacer as it is, attached back to the fork. The ring Monorim ships is the same size anyway. If you don't add the spacer, the fork will wobble and the suspension will be stiff. All videos on RU-vid are wrong, who told you to remove the spacer, I had so much of a headache with solving my wobble, and eventually tried to add back the spacer! Please update your video with new instructions!

Ive got a front DMX dual shocks monorim and rear dmxr with dual shocks and loved they way set up and now willing adding different wheels with split rims for my ninebot max as looking forward to be ridden for work scooter and willing keep it stored into cooler area without getting battery hot from the suns are most risky part and stay safe happy new year to everyone go enjoyed and dont drink or drive any vehicle especially is busiest for new year's tonight 🙏👌

I want to say that monorim has a design defect - there is a gap of 1 mm between the bearings. When tightening the bolts, the bearings become distorted and they do not work as expected. All bearings must be changed and a 1 mm spacer inserted between them. Doesn't it bother anyone that the bearings spin very hard?

The company did they are releasing the new one with the ring in the package now.. they put the video like two weeks ago.. With the link to buy in Amazon.. So is it safe to say the new one in Amazon omes with the new ring?

Raph J It’s all about preference. They are both good you will get more protection with the yellow covered spring but the black one you can adjust it without opening and replacing the spring. I like them both the yellow one matches the scooter more.

Hey man! I need your help/opinion. I installed my g30 monorim suspension in a local store. After trying out my brakes, the g30 is flipping over at a point that it is too dangerous to ride... I tried to relax the brakes a bit, but it seems like the problem is still there. Did you experience any problems with the scooter flipping over? Any ideas how i could fix it? (the store says that they can do nothing about it...).

Oh yea I flipped over. Remove the rain cover it hit the tire causing to flip over.

@@NYPLAYA05 Hmmmm interesting... Did you try hardbraking with the rain cover plastic being removed? If yes how did it go? To me, it feels like the "steering wheel" is moving a lot in front in case of hard braking, causing the flip over. Also, did you use the red spur? The local store that installed the suspension told me not to cause it makes the g30 too hard, almost like no suspension... (btw, im using the yellow monorim suspension, not the new one).

Due to the suspension or the extension of the wheelbase, the leverage effect on the frame is stronger. This caused the frame of my m365 to crack. Therefore I will not equip the g30D that I have ordered with a suspension, unfortunately it has the same weak point. that is fatal if it breaks while driving, check that point occasionally. i.postimg.cc/jS3ZJfRH/10605081111.jpg i.postimg.cc/8592d3Db/1060511.jpg

@@GotNoMoneys I weigh 95 kilos and I used that thing to just cruise around, so no backpack on the back or something. According to the vehicle documents and registration, a load of 100 kilos is allowed. By installing the additional suspension, the forces act differently on the frame because the wheelbase is now longer. It is quite possible that through this small change the forces are already concentrated twice as strongly on a certain point. here is a sketch, that no one will understand. i.postimg.cc/Df65SBv1/asdfff.jpg

You need to add a spacer, buy one from the bike shop for a stem spacer it has the same circumference.

I had the same problem when i install mine, no matter how tight I crank the top bolt it would not tighten up. I took the damn thing apart 2 times when I realized the stem was a little bit too long. I took a grinder and shave 2 mm. off the top of the stem and that allowed the sleeve to pull the stem tight before it stop on the shoulder. This is the problem with Chinese parts, either they are 2mm short or 2 mm too long. Good luck!

Thanks for the video. (the one where silver ring is in). I'm having constant wobbling from the monorim pole that doesn't seem to fit main body perfectly and was curious if extra ring helps reduce gap and the wobbling.

Loosen all the screws then tighten the main screw on the pole all the way then tighten all the other screws

Peter Vu I noticed that the exposed spring has a longer pole. I redid my and used the two original top black washer and ring. No more wobble. Try that it worked for me.
