Ingredients:
• chicken fillet - 500 g
• wheat flour - 130 g
• soy sauce - 1 tbsp
• ketchup - 1 tbsp
• egg - 1
• kefir (fermented buttermilk) - 100 ml
• deep frying vegetable oil - 400 ml
• dried oregano - 1 tsp
• ground ginger - 1 tsp
• ground black pepper - ½ tsp
• sweet paprika - ½ tbsp
• garlic powder - 2 tsp
• ground red pepper - 1 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
You will need:
• 2 deep bowls
• deep pan
• carving board
Preparation:
1. Cut the chicken into strips 1 cm thick.
2. Beat an egg in the deep bowl, add the soy sauce, ½ tsp of salt, ketchup, ground chili pepper, 1 tsp of garlic powder, ground ginger, kefir and mix well.
3. Dip the chicken strips into the marinade, stir well and put for 30 minutes into the fridge.
4. Mix the wheat flour, ground black pepper, ½ tsp of salt, dried oregano, 1 tsp of garlic powder and paprika in the bowl.
5. Heat the vegetable oil in the deep pan.
6. Coat each strip in the flour mixture and dip into the hot vegetable oil, fry from both sides in the boiling oil until golden brown for about 2 minutes.
7. Serve the chicken strips hot with favorite sauces and fresh vegetables.
