Honestly? If they could reduce the latency drastically, and find a better way around the durability issues, that's a good idea for a robot. Imagine a hammer or a saw in the right arm, and a better shaped shield in the left?
not sure if I just plain forgot this one happened because it's a showpiece fighting a bad joke or if they got the unaired seasons over there since the legal bullshit tying them up doesn't apply?
Assuming it's Based Off of a Knight, my Assumption is a Shield and a Lance. A Poor attempt at Blocking the Fire, and using the Lance as a Hail Mary Attempt to maybe Poke and Flip the Dragon Over i Guess. While the Base of it's Structure had Pyramid Shaped Deflectors that Moved with the Punches, and Made it so the Opponent Easily Passes through, sort of like a Turntable, instead of actually Pushing the Knight Robot over, Losing Control. It was a Top Heavy Bot, Controlled via Arm-like Motion Controllers. So they had to Line up the Lance just right and Aim Perfectly using Arm Movements, which Lacked Immediate Responses and Required more Timing and Finesse compared to a Button to just Push and Attack. Also, because the Bots Panels and Weaponry were mostly Plastic, well, you see where that went. All in all, a Unique Design, and with enough Work, can be Achieved. It can be Accomplished. It Put up a Good Fight for a Bot of it's only Kind. I'll say that much.
@@cruz25617 Well, I see you actually took the time to write such an informative comment. In my opinion, the use of plastic material wasn't really a good shot, since the fire. Also, the arm control thing was creative and all, but it was apparently not so convenient to use. And may I ask, if you know the rules, is fire allowed in this game in the first place, and how far can they go with such a weapon?
@@sa3dsha3ban Well, Back in the Days, Flamethrowers were used by the likes of a few roboteers, including one of the oldschool house robots on robot wars named sergeant bash. But now, after so many years, in this modernized era, the one weapon that has shocked even me was the use of actual guns. I never would had thought for that to be legal to use. Also, the very same dragon robot in this very video, used to be a spinner. It had a head that spun and did damage I think, instead of a crushing dragon shaped jaw. So the rules have changed, and there are so many new designs around now. Many of the newer bots seem to have received an upgrade from before. I also have noticed there are many older classic bots no longer present, but have inspired and passed the torch to the newer robots to take over with using former champion designed robots an such. And perfecting the formula furthermore, or the best of their abilities. But sometimes, you just can't beat the classics. Robot Wars. Battle bots. Robotica. Those were some great times back on the early 2000's. Each show had something unique that separated itself from the other. But the new shows are just as good. Huge pop from the crowds, flashier arena design, throwback hazards, improved, more flexible rules, allowing the creators to come up with outlandish and absurd creations that borderline what's legal. Drones/one team having a multitude of bots, and now guns. So it's become more entertaining due to the hype. But I've always been a big fan of anything to do with real world robot combat.
@@cruz25617 Well... guns?!!! :( :( :( that's not so reassuring, life-wise. I see you are an old fan and have followed the game history. Thanks for the information, dude. :)
