Interesting footage from the past. Thank you for posting it. I have doubts, though, about some statements made in this film; for example that Yemeni Jews were called dogs by Yemeni Arabs, and that they did not have the right to walk to the right of a Muslim. Before 1948, Jews were traditionally respected in Arab lands, far better than in Europe for 1400 years. Were the Yemeni Jews treated like equals to Ashkenazim in Israel? I have read their testimony to the contrary. We should stick to truth.
the askenazim never used pogroms against them. they were respected in yemen so much 49 thousand yemenite jews (out of 50 thousand) left within 3 years. indeed we should stick to the truth

@Peace4everynation We have historically been TOLERATED in "Arab" lands conquered by Islam in a traditional expansionist openly aggressive or low intensity warfare; subjected to third class "citizenship" just below Muslim women; forced to pay special taxation even when natives to a conquered land such as Spain or historical Jewish Homeland, not just current Israeli territory. Not respected but tolerated, because we would rather die than convert and that would be bad business for Islam.

@@anitemaniلا يوجد محرقه أو نفي لي اليهود في اليمن كل هذا من صنع الأفلام أما الأمراض كانت منتشرة في جميع السكان في شمال اليمن تحت حكم الملك لنه كان غبي لا يريد غير رائيه أما انهم كانو مستعبدين هاذا الأمر غير صحيح أجدادنا واجدادكم كانو يعيشون مع بعض ولم يكن هناك فرق ومازلت اليمن محتفظه بي التاريخ اليهودي الى اليوم من بيوت وفن وقرى ومقابر أما التقرير مستفز جعلهم عبيد وهم احرر واليمنيين أحرار يهود أو مسلمين لا يمكن أن يستعبدهم احد ومازل يهود اليمن في إسرائيل محافظين على عادتهم اليمنيه من الاكل والرقص والغناء ونحن نحبهم ونتمنى أن يكونو بخير وقبل الاسلام اليمن الدولة الوحيدة التي كانت يهوديه في الجزيرة العربية .
