To all the people answering me, it's really simple: Judaism predates Islam and Christianity by thousands of years, so you can't use either of those faiths to Explain Judaism. Yemenites do not call themselves "Jews". They say that the "Jews are Greeks". Yemenites call themselves "Yemenite Yahudim, we are not the Greek Jews". The term "Jew" did not arrive until the later centuries more recently and is of Greek-Latin origin, not Hebrew. Shalom
I'm Ashkenazi and even recent peer reviewed studies prove that Ashkenazim are indeed semitic and not similar to their host populations. Think genetic bottlenose affect, that Jews bred historically in closed communities and gentiles didn't often breed with Jews for a variety of reasons. There's so many studies that confirm this.
This is a very beautiful story and documentary. Unfortunately I do not understand the Hebrew. I would love to say the Yemenite Jewish Synagogue and Torah, and the the Yemenite Jewish Rite. There were Jews, particularly from Yemen, who formed part of the old yeshuv before Israel was even founded. In other words, Jews from Arab countries were already returning before Israel was founded. There is a reason the British had two chief rabbis for Israel, and Ashkenazi and a Sephardi chief rabbi. One for the Ashkenazi community, the other for the Jews from Arab countries. So...your little theory on only Ashkenazi Jews is completely wrong.

Wow, u look very confused. First, I never said that there was not jews in Palestine before the creation of Israel. As I said, the jews who was Already in Palestine (meaning that they was already in since long time ago), they didn't wanted a state called ''Israel'', they just didn't wanted to create a state. They lived under Arab law without any problem. But when the eastern european jews (ashkenazi) immigrate in mass in Palestine, they wanted there own state, because of WWII.
