Magnificent, wonderful series. I have become addicted to it - and the craziest thing is, that just by watching it with Danish subtitles at Netflix, I am beginning to understand some Hebrew :)

I saw this on Netflix with subtitles. One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

Wonderful series, the best I've ever seen and I feel like I may just be done with television forever, nothing comes close to this. Exceptional writing and depth of emotion. I am a Christian and I noticed some themes have been written in a key that the haredi themselves may not approve of. But I find the tone and feel of these series to be profoundly relatable - and educative - irrespective of our religious backgrounds. Also, beautiful filming and imagery. Perfect ten. God bless.

Accidentally saw this trailer and found the series in Netflix. Started watching the series and fell in love with it. Actors are superb, writings exceptional Cinematography is great! story line is so real and interesting! Can't wait for Season 3

I live in a charadi world and this is so real, so honest and besides that it is exceptionally done. I admire the acting, the small details of the props, set, just everything that makes this an experience. No other way to say but that they have brought us into the experience. The actors, the make-up, if it is make-up! It's done so well! Are just fantastic. Who are these amazing actors that they portray this world so accurately? בתור חרדי לשעבר, וכאחד שצפה בסדרות ובסרטי קולנוע ישראלים רבים שהתיימרו לחקות את הציבור החרדי, ונכשלו כישלון חרוץ - זה הכי קרוב ואותנטי שראיתי בינתיים. מיכאל אלוני צריך קצת שיפור באובר דרמטיות שלו, אבל סך הכל הוא מעולה! ודבל'ה גליקמן - ללקק את האצבעות. פשוט מושלם!! כל הכבוד, באמת! ושאר השחקנים גם הם לא רעים בכלל.. :)

This was by far the best international drama I've had the pleasure to watch. I loved every minute and was gutted when it was removed from Netflix. No idea where to find it with English subtitles anymore.

watching this for the 3rd time around, such a brilliant series! Being German helps me understand yiddish, I didn't know how close it is to my native language.... Now I wonder if there is going to be a 4th season?
