Under Saddam we had the best standards of living in the with the highest economy per gdp with the largest and strongest military in the middle east. We completely crushed the Iranians despite them being backed by the US/Israel/Saudi/and other western countries. And no, the country isn’t doing any better, it’s still a puppet state of Iran.

@@VIPSteller no its the United Arab Republic founded by Nasser who was the Leftist leader of Egypt at the time unified with Syria after the Leftist government was underthreat and thus the United Arab Republic was born in 1958 but dissolved in 1961 when Syria broke away however the Egyptians continued with the name until 1971
