Daya Mata (born Faye Wright; January 31, 1914 - November 30, 2010)
was a prominent spiritual leader and a direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda, who was the founder of the Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) and the author of "Autobiography of a Yogi."
Daya Mata dedicated her life to the teachings of Yogananda and played a significant role in the leadership of the Self-Realization Fellowship, serving as its president from 1955 until her passing in 2010. She was known for her wisdom, compassion, and devotion to the spiritual path.
Self-Realization Fellowship is a worldwide spiritual organization that aims to disseminate the teachings of Yogananda and promote the practice of Kriya Yoga, a meditation technique he introduced. Daya Mata was instrumental in expanding the reach of the organization and fostering spiritual communities around the world. Her life and teachings continue to inspire individuals on their spiritual journeys.
دایا ماتا (متولد ۳۱ ژانویه ۱۹۱۴ - درگذشته ۳۰ نوامبر ۲۰۱۰) رهبر معنوی برجسته و شاگرد مستقیم پاراماهانسا یوگاناندا بود، بنیان‌گذار (SRF) و نویسنده کتاب "زندگینامه یک یوگی".
دایا ماتا زندگی خود را به تدریس تعالیم یوگاناندا اختصاص داد و نقش مهمی در رهبری این سازمان داشت، از سال ۱۹۵۵ تا رحلت خود در سال ۲۰۱۰ به عنوان رئیس این سازمان خدمت کرد. او به عنوان یک زن با حکمت، مهربانی و اخلاص به مسیر معنوی شناخته می‌شد.
