PURPOSE (Full Bottle)
The fragrances are made with such high quality, nothing less to expect from a Fragrance House like Amouage .. HOWEVER, what you care about the MOST is the smell and the performance.
As for performance, they all perform with perfection! Both Projection & Longevity!!
As for SMELL, bellow is my opinion of each fragrance:
GUIDANCE
Sweet & woody fragrance that uses the note of Pear 🍐 and Osmanthus very well. A long with the beautiful Omani Frankincense! It is pleasant but leaning more feminine to my nose.
LINEAGE
I love it. It opens with OBVIOUS & beautiful GINGER not in a sharp and dominant way. The fragrance may has many amazing notes but goes around three main notes to me before it reaches the base. Which are the Ginger, the Frankincense & the Myrrh!
The base is Woody & Ambery
SEARCH
This is my favorite of the collection, even though it may come of as not the most creative fragrance. It really does cultivate my sense and speaks to me. Simply because i ADORE this KIND OF DNA 😍 I love freshies. SEARCH gives me that with it Citruses from the Lime, Lemon 🍋 and Mandarin 🍊
It later on reduces the citrusy touches and shows the beauty of the AMBERY touches coming from both the Elemi and Olibanum.. it lastly gives of the beauty of its base which consists of Vetiver, Guaiac Wood 🪵 & Cade oil which is extracted from JUNIPER 🖤
PURPOSE
THIS MY FRIENDS IS THE FRAGRANCE THAT I RECEIVED A FULL BOTTLE OF. Not my favorite to be honest BUT it is by far The deepest in the collection, The most sought after AND The most talked about.
A WOODY yet VERY Spicy 🌶️ Fragrance with a touch of soft leather
The OLIBANUM is obvious through out the fragrance, HOWEVER, it does have a very tough fight with the spicy opening which is dominated by both The PIMENTO 🌶️ & BLACK PEPPER.
A few an hour or so, the FRANKINCENSE starts to take its lead while the spicy woods go along the way. SEARCH definitely is a deep fragrance that has different stages, but it certainly needs a try before buying, in my humble opinion.
If you like fragrances like Bios Marocain from TOM FORD, this DNA would suit you perfectly.
I don’t see myself wearing it a lot. But it is definitely a high quality fragrance that I am happy to have in my collection!
