Should I use Collagen Supplements to supple my skin?!
There are a few small studies in human related to collagen supplementation that show improve skin elasticity and skin aging such as a review study in the journal of “Drugs in Dermatology “.
There is also an extra cost involved with using collagen supplements and not everyone wants the extra- cost!
Moreover,there aren’t studies that zero in on the safety of collagen supplements and dermatologists believe that more research is needed on safety.
Last but not least, instead of using collagen Supplements, provide your body with diet rich in protein and Vitamin C.
The only occasions when dermatologists may recommend collagen supplementation:
✅ You’re healing from a burning, trauma, skin surgery or accident.
✅ You’re having aggressive laser procedures on your skin such as resurfacing Co2 laser and Endolift.
