Ev will not be successful if companies like Tata sell the car at premium price.. Tata is selling tigor ev which is same has petrol tigor... Everything is same except the motor and battery....on road it cost 14 lacs..and a motor and battery doesn't cost that much... it will also have not resale value in future.... And ev is only successful in city..

Yeah it's true 75 energy is from fossil fuel , but it's gone from 90% to 75% in past 6 years after 2014, and we have a planned 44-48% renewable energy quota in 2028-29 , so that's some massive jump, even if it takes 3 decades in shifting to renewables I think it's worth taking into consideration ,

@@prathameshbirajdar8778 because petrol/diesel cars have poor efficiency of energy conversion, only about 20-30% But electric cars have 90%+ efficiency. So it's better for environment. Secondly you can get solar at your home. An ongrid 400W solar panel is only worth 7-8k which will neutralize all the coal emissions and save more money.

Dam good analysis... I did the same calculation.. Ev is not worthy now... We use car for long range only.. And ev fails there

Drive ev for 5 years save tons of money then by a car of your choice for bhoukali 🤪, in uncle ke subh subh dimag kharb kar diya mera 25000-30000 saal ki drive hai meri 8 rs per km bhi bachta hai to 2-2.5 lakh Bach Gaye yearly 2-2.5 lakh at least ( petrols prices are on rise and it will continue to rise I think ) so 2.5 lakhs for 8 years is 20 lakhs 😂 that's some serious saving and if one drives average kms 20000 kms per year still it's 15-17 lakhs

@@gurpreetkakkar Tigor ki top end Automatic on road NCR mein around ₹8.5 lakhs ki padegi. Extra ₹5.5 lakhs ka loan liya to 50k kms ke baad hi break even hoga. But uske baad definitely bahut benefit hai. Aur agar daily running 80-100 kms hai then wo 500 days mein hi ho jayega. Rahi baat share market ki, wahaan to kabhi ujala kabhi andhera hai. That is a different topic.

What about battery replacement cost which will be more than 5 lakhs... And tigor petrol must be costing 10lakhs for petrol version and that 4 lakh difference... What about peace of mind while driving on strechs? For as of now I think cng is most economical... Evs already have advantage such as no engine maintenance etc so just they need to decrease the initial cost and battery cost

@@AjayPatil-fj5tu True CNG makes sense for short term.. it comes around ₹3-4/- per km.. but again its imported, price will increase very fast as usage increases.. Battery price is reducing, actually range will be increased in coming days.. whatever approx calculation shown above, it does not need battery replacement in that period; pay ₹4lkh/- extra initially and save cumulatively ₹9lkh/- till ~1.5lkh km comparing petrol one.. as vehicle is normally designed for ~1.6lkh ,many other problems may arise after that period not only battery.. Yes peace of mind is a factor for long distance travel, but EV infra is spreading quite fast too.. for city usage and occasional planned long distance travel it won’t be a issue..

For headlamp separate battry is there...but yes AC will have impact on range...

Bhai if you want to achieve claimed range by company you have to ride your ev on static average speed.. Ev is problem for longer distance

They will get cheaper eventually with next gen just like smartphones. 1st gen products are always expensive and have alot of flaws ... Issues will get rectified in the 2nd gen.

this has a 25 kwh battery . Cars in China with 30 kwh are sold for 6 to 7 lakhs. Problem is that tata imports everything of the car except steel body. Battery, motor, bms, dc converter, sunroof, etc , sll from China. So the price increases due to import duty. Also tata is a large company and their overhead costs are more , so they increase the price to get good profits.

Its not 8 month. It's 8 year for battery warranty from manufacturer. That's more than enough...

It's 8 years. And it is one of the cheapest EVs in the world

That all equals to around 10 lakhs in about 6 years.. So for now ev is not practical.. I think cng is best for now
