Great review Ravi Bhai. Hardcore fans of Thar will probably enjoy this revved up version Roxx. But for people sitting on the fence.....this is my take from Ravi Bhai's review.... Thar gives 11 ka mileage on highway probably City driving mein aur bhi kam...maybe around 8? Second row kafi difficult lagta hai. Better take it on hire for a few days for the kick on outstation drives. For city driving look for cars with better mileage (most city cars will give above 15-16 easily 2x of thar) and more comfort.

Bhai... Jimny iske aadhe price aur aadhe size ki SUV hai.😬 i20/Punch ke price mein Jimny 4x4 Ladder-on-frame sub-compact but Real SUV hai... Handling aur Transmission Suzuki ki "unmatchable" hai in the non-luxury segment mein at least. Fuel-Economy har segment mein best hoti hai Suzuki ki to easily City car bhi ban jaati hai...unlike other brands bro And above all...India ke hilly/mountain areas ki narrow aur landslide prone roads pe "Mountain Goat" hai Jimny 4x4...Capable and Compact. Don't get me wrong, Mahindra Thar/Roxx awesome car with fierce road presence hai but bohot Broad and Heavy bhi hai. Inexperienced drivers Hill/Mountains ya city mein bhi Traffic-jams aur kya pata itne heavy weight ki wajah se landslides bhi karwa den.😬

@@theBartSimpson sadly in jimny you only get the zeta and alpha variant which are priced at 14 lakhs and above, hence not a feasible option. Anyone would go with thar roxx at this price point. Maruti should have brought the base variant of the jimny too, its such a nice car if its pricing is around 10l

@@rayan8847 I get your point brother that Jimny is priced high. But it does carry 2-3L discounts every few months. So 12-13L is still a reasonable price for a Ladder-on Frame chassis, 4x4 SUV with 1.5L fuel-efficient and reliable engine. It seems like Maruti Suzuki does want to sell it at lower prices in India but it also doesn't want to spoil the sales of its 10-12L smaller engine cars. Markets have hugely been bullied up by TATA Punch with its highly disappointing and eyesore 3-cyl NA engine and Hyundai i20 with 1.2L NA engine (very good engine and great car though) and their prices easily going far above and beyond 10L. So in this "overpriced" era, Jimny offers far more value in 12-13L price range.

Good review with lot of details. Would also like to see a detailed comparison video with Scorpio-N especially covering the following points: 1. Ride quality and body roll 2. Seat comfort, under thigh support, space in first and second rows. 3. High speed stability and tyre/wind noise at highways. 4. Performance and fuel efficiency especially for petrol automatic version (Scorpio-N is more powerful and likely has better aerodynamics but thar roxx is likely lighter)

Very good & straight forward on point explanation of every other thing. Regarding mileage, i hope Diesel Manual will be able to giev upto 16-17kmpl on highways if drove decently with light foot. But one major drawback are the ergonomics - Seat comfort, storage spaces , speaker position on the doors, hugh speed stability are some of the things for pure motorists & highway cruisers after all. Nevertheless appreciate your genuine review ❤

Off-roading review is more important for this vehicle. For normal/comfortable driving Creta / Seltos / Harrier / Vitara etc. is available with more features & better look.

The constant body movement is very evident throughout this video. For long journeys Monocoque Chasis will be better as you described.

I think Mahindra messed up the pricing. People who travel frequently will prefer the Scorpio or xuv700 over this. It will be useful in places like Kerala with two lane roads and slow two way traffic and frequent flooding during monsoon season.
