CC means swept volume... Distance coverd by piston.... Air sucked by cylinder is actually less than swept volume....... And power and efficiency is more depend on compressrion ratio.... Thats why 372CC dominar give more horse power than royal enefield 500CC.. Bcoz of compression ratio dominar hv compression ratio of 11 & RE 500 cc have compression ratio of 8...

Dear Gagan Please clarify as to how torque and BHP of 1.5 litre (apx) dragon engine petrol of Ford EcoSport is significantly higher than the same capacity (apx) engine of Brezza petrol when both the engines are naturally aspirated. Does the size or stroke length of cylinders has got anything to do with it? What is more perplexing is that petrol engine if Brezza is four cylinders via a vis 3 cylinders in dragon engine of EcoSport.
