बहुत बहुत साधुवाद इस वीडियो के लिए 🙏🙏 एक बात जो आपसे नज़रअंदाज हो गई, जब अपने समय के नामचीन गीतकार ......... ने कहा था कि उर्दू के बगैर गीत लिखा ही नहीं जा सकता, तब नीरज जी ने एक भी उर्दू शब्द के बगैर फिल्म प्रेम पुजारी का गीत "फूलों के रंग से..... " लिख कर उन्हें लाजवाब कर दिया था। इस किस्से का जिक्र न आने से वीडियो में अधूरापन महसूस होता है ।

Kavi Neeraj ji was working under his terms. Once the main Music Directors viz. Burman DA, Shanker Jaikishan gone from Bollywood, he felt that no music directors will understand his lyrics and left Bollywood. At that time he was at the top. I salute him.

फिल्म " मेरा नाम जोकर" के गीत "ऐ भाई जरा देख के चलो " नीरज साहब ने ही लिखा था जिसकी धुन SJ साहब से बन नहीं रही थी तब नीरज जी ने ही इस गीत की धुन SJ जी को बना कर दी थी जिसका उन्होंने इस फिल्म में इस्तेमाल किया। ऐसा एक फिल्मी लेख में पढ़ा था।

"ऐ भाई जरा देख के चलो" यह गीत नीरज जी ने मूलरूप में 1962में लिखा था। मैंने वह गीत भी पढ़ा है। मेरा नाम जोकर में उसी गीत में कुछ शब्द बदल कर प्रयोग किया गया।

लेकिन 'ऐ भाई जरा देख के चलो.', के बारे में एक कहानी यह भी कही जाती है कि राज साहब अपनें स्टूडियो के सैंट पर नीरज जी से मेरा नाम जोकर फिल्म की एक सिचुएशन पर गीत के बारे में चर्चा कर रहे कि चाय पिलाने वाला लड़का चाय के गिलासों को लेकर पास से निकलते हुए नीरज जी से टकरा कर डिसबैलैन्स हो तो नीरज जी के मुँह से अनायास ही निकल पड़ा ऐ भाई ज़रा देख के चलो.. और राज साहब चहक कर बोल उठे यह तो मुझे इस सिचुएशन के गीत का मुखड़ा मिल गया। ये गीत आगे चल बहुत ही लोकप्रिय हुआ ।

In the song “Rangila re …….. there was one more condition. That … gaana “sharab”ka hai, Lekin “sharab” shabd nahin hona chaheye. This was another condition put forth. And Neeraj ji smartly used “Jal” as a substitute for that word. In the movie”Kanyadaan”, as far as I remember reading in the film magazine, the song “ Likhe jo khat … was initially rejected, which Neeraj tore. But incidentally, the second song too was not accepted and then finally “Likhe jo khat …… was accepted on the advise of the Music Directors. I maybe wrong in the second case. But this was brought up in some magazine and also by the lyricist in an interview. But his voice was not very clear, due to his I’ll health then. Hope I am corrected. Yes Yashdeep you are correct. “Likhe jo khat …… was the second song which was accepted. Stands corrected.
