Please go through the laws. Police need more evidence to act against you. In case someone files a false case against you, you have chance to not to get arrested. I have suffered 10 year due to a false case.

@@devadev3037 previously, police would have to to take you magistrate. Now there is a window of 15 days. This is specifically introduced to take care of false 498 A where police had to arrest you and your family. Statistically there are more cases of false men arrested than someone need other party to get arrested ASAP. Again now there is a timeline to solve a case.
