हमने 1992 में गडहिंग्लज(कोल्हापूर )से बंदुरबार तक और नंदुरबार (धुळे )से सफर किया था / कोल्हापूर और सातारा कै बिचमें गाडी का अकॅसिडेन्ट हुआ लेकिन गाडीके पार्ट्स मजबूत होने कै कारण किसीको चोट नही लगी और गाडीका नुकसान हुआ /बाद में हम नंदुरबार (नवापूर तालुका )में चार दिन रककर फिर गडहिंग्लज-चंदगड (कोल्हापूर ) सुखरूप लौट आये /आंबेसेंडर की वझहसे आज हम जिंदा हैं /जयहिंद

I am an employee of Hindustan Motors. I worked there for 24 years i.e.from 1977 to 2000. It is a good Company but salary was very poor. Management is not good. It closed due to the inefficiency of Management & local political reason. Leaders of CPM were responsible for its downtrend. Because they were pressurise Company to recruit their party cadres and these persons destroy the work culture. There slogan was "asi jai maine pai kaj korle overtime chai". These persons were not working but they were taking their salaries. Next Management policy - company assembled or made whole body of Ambassador in Uttarpara factory but Isuzu engine came from new factory in Gujrat. The labourers made 75 car per day at one time but when Isuzu engine came the production was drastically lower. Because only 30 engines per week came from Gujrat to complete a car. This showed that Management of the Company were interested to close the factory. When I joined this company there worked 16000 staff & workers. But bad management policy & local political reasons and inefficiency of the then local political leadership were the main reason for its downfall.

अटल बिहारी जी अगर नहीं फंसे होते तो एम्बेसडर का काम चलता रहता। और मेरे गांव के पास ही घनश्याम दास बिड़ला जी का पुस्तैनी गांव और बंगला है लेकिन वहां चौकीदार रहते हैं परिवार के लोग पहले कलकत्ता और फिर लंदन अमेरिका चले गए। बिरला परिवार में भी संपत्ति का झगड़ा इतना अधिक बढ़ गया था कि कोर्ट कचहरी के सिवाय उस धनाढ्य परिवार को और कुछ नहीं दिखता था। संपत्ति भी इतनी अधिक थी कि उनको खुद को अंदाजा नहीं था और झगड़े में परिवार बिखर गया है। चौथी पांचवीं पीढ़ी को बिना मेहनत किए अरबों खरबों की जायदादें बंटवारे में मिल जाने से उद्योग पर से ध्यान हट गया और एक दूसरे को नीचा कैसे दिखाया जाए इस पर लगने लगा और इसका शिकार बना एम्बेसडर कार।

जी जी बिल्कुल सही बंद होने का कारण जो भी रहा हो पता नहीं लेकिन भाई सेप्टी की तो फुल गारंटी थी कहीं ठोकदी हो तो अन्दर बैठे हुए को सिर्फ मामूली चोट ही आती और बोडी इतनी मजबूत कि थोड़ा सा कलर खरोंच ही आता था इसमें बैठे हुए किसी की मोत नहीं होती थी आज करोड़ रुपये की कार में सेफटी के नाम पर सिर्फ गुब्बारा मिलता है जिसे एअर बैग कहते हैं

Mere father ke pas Ambassador mark 4 tha. Bahut comfortable aur specious car tha. Uske pehle Austin aur Fiat 1100 car tha, lekin comfortable Ambassador aur Austin me jyada tha. Maine driving bhi Ambassador car main sikha tha. Uske bad mere papa Maruti omni van, Maruti 800 AC model, Hyundai Santro, Hyundai i10 purchase kia tha, but Ambassador ke sath attachment alag tha. Mere father ke paas white ambassador Mark III tha, mileage to 6KMPL hota tha, aur starting problem to kamal ka tha, steering to mano itna hard hota tha pucho mat, aur ager kisika pet thoda jyada bada hota to steering wheel me takra jata tha, aur kya kya experience bataye, bas yeh body heavy tha, accident me safe, baki to tin ta dabba hi tha, acceleration ke naam pe to cycle koi jor se chalaye to nikal jayega. All experience hai, by the way that time I was a little boy used to live in Kolkata, West Bengal. Aur haan company ke dubne ka ek reason west bengal ka politics v tha, employees hartal, kaam se jyada union, by the way research and development wings me chai aur Alu chop jyada chalta tha, So it was supposed to get ruined someday or other. Sir ji mai khud Hindustan motors ke uttarpara plat mei Kam karta tha , aap jo jo रीजन बोले वो सब ठीक है।लेकिन इसमें भ्रष्ट्राचार काफी हो रहा था अंतिम दिनों में सारे वर्कर दिन भर बैठे रहते थे अंतिम घंटों में मैनेजमेंट डिसीजन लेता था की 30 गाड़ी बनेगी शॉप मैनेजर अनाउंस करता था की आप लोगों को एक्स्ट्रा 300 रुपया दिया जाएगा आप लोग अपना एक्स्ट्रा टाइम में काम करके घर जा सकते हैं वर्करों को 300 रुपया देकर ज्यादा का बिल बनता था।

We had an Amabassador MarkIII. It was an awesomely comfortable car. We bought it just before they introduced captain seats in front with a floor gear shift. Its gear stick located like the wiper stick today, it would break often and when we travelled to & from Mumbai to Indore, we used to keep one or two extra sticks. Fuel efficiency was unheard of back then. The steering was heavy and the driver's chest would pain if he drove for more than four-five hours at a stretch. ACs had just come in and they had to be attached below the front facia.

Low accident rates claimed as the total cars were very high for calculations. Kisi ne dusri chalai nahi is liye euphorial memories of car drive is attached with Amby, but it definately gripped roads and only driver had seating issues. Passangers enjoyed. Buy old convert to disel and on road with AC was the TREND.

Chennai and Kolkata had Ambassador taxis as well as tourist cars as late as 2007 and whenever I went to these cities on official work, I would ask my admin to specifically book an AC Ambassador for me to travel around in these cities.

We had Ambassador Mark-II from 1968 (Price around ₹ 27,000/-) and the same Car was in running condition till 2001 ( with 3 times Body repairing and Engine Overhauling). Then bought Maruty 800 (Bharat-II), SURPRISINGLY the this car is also still in running Condition !!

सर, vedio is good to cover Hindustan Motors. Apart of Ambassador , one more upper class model was from HM is Contessa Classic. We had a Ambassador from 1987 to 2010 onwards. We have grown up with this car and have sweet memories too. HM should restart its production if possible.

Ambassador is my darling car. I have travelled many times in this car. It's Ruby. Its steefing wheel was very impressive with 4x3 steel bars, its bonet was very attractive with patsllel curves whichgave a nice look to it, its tear portion was also veryelegant having sedan looks and a spacious dicky 6 to 7 persons could yravel in it very easily. It had a chasis and differential having rear wheel drive. It had hand gears near steering wheel. So by allmeans it was a very excellent car.

AMBASSADOR was NEVER available in 2.5 Litre diesel version. The cubic capacity of the ISUZU DIESEL was just 2.0 LITRE, 1998 cc, to be precise. So, get your facts checked & corrected. Myself, owned one, some 30 years ago. Therefore, have enough of evidence to prove this fact.

Ambassador car was totally Fail From 1st day 14000/- on that day was 3 months salary of President Ambassador WAS SUPPORTED BY Nehru Govt And FIAT WAS ALSO AT THAT TIME AND MUCH LIKED BUT ANBESSEDOR SUPPLIED IN GOVT OFFCES AND AS SOON AS MARITI ENTERED AND CONGRESS LOST ANBESSEDOR VANISHED IT WAS LONG LASTING BECAUSE IT WAS JUST A PRIMITIVE CAR ANY ONE COULD REPAIR VERY HEAVY TOO MUCH FUEL CONSUMPTION FOR DEAD WEIGHT

ग़ज़ब की आरामदायक car, खास कर के पिछली सीट..मजबूत body, जबरदस्त road grip /stability... पर इत्ते से नहीं होता.. समय के साथ खुद को नहीं change करना, नई टेक्नोलॉजी और डिजाइन को ना अपनाना, कीमत को जरूरत से ज्यादा रखना,.. अहंकार भगवानों को भी नहीं छोड़ता.. यहीं हाल nokia, blackberry, htc, राजदूत जैसे Brands का भी हुआ। Contessa एक सही car थी पर lack of मार्केटिंग और excess price ने गडबड कर गई

You have not done any research why this car was discontinued. Main reason is Trade union movement by communist in Bengal. As it's well known fact that communist always works for the foreign countries, in the same way they closed maximum Indian industries so that foreign companies can easily earn more. They did this in the name of labour strike. HM faced a huge loss in Bengal. Even till date they couldn't able to sell their assets to recover their loss. Please do research, and present the correct information to the people. May be you are with communist back ground that is why you are not giving the actual information but fact is fact. Indian economy was damaged by the communists trade union movement which was well supported by Indira led Congress. They almost destroyed India. Thank God PV Narshimha Rao came and changed a lot followed by Great Vajpayee who brought total change in India's attitude towards development. The Internet, mobile, electronics & heavy industries sector saw a boom, other wise India would have been another Pakistan during the Sonia regime.

नमस्ते भाई साहब बीएसएनल कभी नहीं सुधर सकती मैं सिम पोर्ट कराई है बीएसएनएल में पिछले 4 दिन हो गए ना तो सिम चालू हुई और जब सिम चालू हो गई तो तो आवाज स्पष्ट नहीं आ रही जब आवाज पटवारी तो वह नेटवर्क नहीं दिख रहा तत्काल एक चीज की जानकारी और सबसे बड़ी बात यह स्मार्टफोन में चल नहीं नहीं सिर्फ और सिर्फ सादा फोन में चल रही है कीपैड वालों में नेट तो बहुत दूर की बात कॉल करने में भी इतनी परेशानी आ रही है मुझे मालूम है अलीगढ़ उत्तर प्रदेश में वह जब मैं सिम पोर्ट करने गया तो मुझे सो रुपए लिए पोर्टिंग के जबकि प्राइवेट कंपनियां वोटिंग फ्री कर रही हैं इतनी पर भी अगर बीएसएनल वालों को समझ में नहीं आता तो बताइए हम क्या करें हम तो खुद चाहते हैं कि सरकार का रजत पड़े हमारा पैसा हमारे काम आए लेकिन जब सरकार इस चीज पर ध्यान ही नहीं लग रही तो बताइए आप और हम कब तक इसकी सहायता करेंगे

भारत सरकार देश की जनता की मांग कि भारत में रोड पर कार दुर्घटना ज्यादा होने लगी है। ऐसे घटना में ज्यादा तर लोगों मृत्यु हो जाता हैं। लेकिन Ambesdor car फिर से बनाया जाया जिससे रोड दुर्घटना रोका जाया इसकी उत्पादन बिहार जैसा पिछड़ा राज्य है।

Why are you delivering the information at the speed of bullet train. No one can either absorb understand or appreciate the information at all. मेरे पास एंबेसडर, फिर फिएट और उसके बाद कंटेस्सा क्लासिक हुआ करती थी, तीनों ही गाड़ियां बड़ी ही आरामदायक, स्मूथ और स्पेशियस हुआ करती थीं । मैं हमेशा प्रीमियर पद्मिनी को लता मंगेशकर और एंबेसडर को आशा भोसले कहा करता था, क्यों की जैसे वह दोनों बहनें जैसे संगीत की मल्लिकाएं थी वैसे ही यह दोनो गाडियां इंडियन रोड्स की रानियां हुआ करती थीं, Those were the days....!!!

मैने इस गाड़ी में 2008-10 तक सफर किया है बहुत रहीसी और आलीसान गाड़ी है यदि आज भी नई बन रही होती तो खरीद लेता बहुत अच्छी गाड़ी थी। इस गाड़ी का एक्सीडेंड बहुत कम होता था मेरे जानकारी में कभी नहीं हुआ। बस माईलेज कम देती थी।

What management can do? Dasgupta (union leader was main culprit..he forced the mamagement to shutdown the factory .shame to west bengali who support these types of union leaders..metal box and other company are few examples..

एक कारण और है, MPFI इंजिन जो नये ॲम्बेसेडर मे बिठाया गया था , वो बाकी कारो के मुकाबले पुरी तरह से यशस्वी नही हुआ था, बार बार उसमे कोई ना कोई टेक्निकल खराबी निकल ती थी, और ॲम्बेसेडर का इंजिन बहुत रेस होता था, अगर ॲम्बेसिडर सेल्स के पश्चात अपने सर्विस मे सुधार लाया होता, तो आज ॲम्बेसेडर अपने पुराने शान से देश के सडको पर चलते दिखती

Ambassador से ज़्यादा आरामदेह car नहीं आई इतनी बड़ी जैसे कि पूरा सोफ़ा car मै रख दिया है इतनी बड़ी कि मैने एक बार इसमें दस लोगों को लेकर यात्रा की है और load capacity 4 ton कि थी spare parts सस्ते और कहीं भी मिल जाती थी.

😅 1980 तक वापरा, बॉम्बे- ईन्दोर - रतलाम, श्रीनाथजी लोन्ग रुट बहोत समय गया हुॅ, हेेन्ड गीयर होते थे,आगे चार पीछे तीन बैठते थे, गाडी ने कभी भी घोखा नही दीया, खराब रोड पर भी निकल जाती थी।
