At the outset let me thank you for giving me and people like me hope and confidence towards this beautiful hobby. I had started around 6 months backs with Chichlids and built the second one for Discus (3x1.5x1.5) a fortnight ago after a lot of hesitation. Presently having 2 discus and few tetras in that tank. I have the following questions - 1. In your second Hindi video you never spoke of top filter - why is that? 2. Can you please share few contacts in and around Delhi from where I can get good and cheap discus? The Delhi shops are having astronomically high price .
Really sorry... I don't keep cichlid fishes... So making a video on them will be difficult... Also all my videos are about what I have learnt from keeping the fishes that I keep... I don't make videos if I am not sure of the subject... Hope you understand

Hi... Black spots is called Discus peppering. Very common in few varieties of Discus... It can be due to lots of reasons water condition, tank positioning, tank mates, tank background other dominant Discus or illness... Mainly this happens due to stress... Reason for stress can be all the above

Yes for new fishes it happens... So when you are starting off... White background is good... After that you can change to black... Like what I have done
Bro, I love your work and the amount of research you come up with. As a beginner I have little idea on the types of discus (red panda, cobalt, pigeon etc) and the chances of peppering on them in effect with black background (some say- some discus don't have peppering), + difference btwn Mumbai-bred, Bangkok-bred and Malaysia-bred discus. I truly researched myself, but I don't have confidence on anyone except you. Please consider making a video, I insist, please do. Regards.

I want to keep bare bottom tank is it necessary to place white or black paper under tank so that discus fish can't see himself in bottom glass. I hv glow tetra so I can't put paper under tank now what I can do.

Bro Australian black worms is like Biriyani... So daily feeding that is not good... Keep them in fasting for 2 to 3 days no food... Then slowly try Pellets put very few... Because of hunger they will try it.. I know it a difficult thing to do but.. It's good for them... Mixed diet is always better.... Australian black worms is high protein.... So daily not recommended

Aapki vedio informative toh hai per saath he bahut complicated bhi hai or expense bhi bahut bar jaiga aisay agar mai with out substrate top filter with activated carbon and biological media or ek sponge filter ke saath discus palo or weekly 30 precent water change karu toh wo rehpaige kya meri other fish toh aisay he rehti hai usme sevrum bhi hai jiska nature discus ke kaafi close hai
