Mushroom masala is an easy and simple recipe. This is a main course dish. Mushrooms are cooked in onion and tomato based gravy. This medium spicy recipe tastes just awesome. Do try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. You also can like,

Ingredients:
• 200 gm Mushroom
• 4 finely chopped Onions
• 1 cup Tomato puree
• 1 tbsp Red chili powder
• 1 tsp Coriander powder
• 2 tsp Besan
• 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
• 1 Cinnamon stick
• 2 Green cardamom
• 2 Peppercorns
• 2 Cloves
• 1 tbsp Kitchen king masala
• 1 tsp Kasuri methi
• Salt to taste
• 4~5 tsp Butter
Method:
• Wash mushrooms really good and cut them.
• Heat up butter in a pan. You can use vanaspati ghee instead of
butter or combination of sajuk tup & oil.
• Try to use vanaspati ghee or butter which give nice consistency.
• When butter melts add cinnamon, green cardamom, peppercorns,
cloves and fry for just about a minute.
• Add finely chopped onion and fry on medium heat until it turns
nice and soft for about 10-12 minutes.
• It should get nice golden color.
• Take the onion aside in the pan and add besan.
• Fry besan for about 4-5 minutes until its raw smell is removed.
• You can roast the besan before hand and add it to onion when it
is fried.
• Mix besan with onion and add tomato puree, ginger-garlic paste,
red chili powder, kitchen king masala, coriander powder and mix
well.
• Cook on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes until spices release
oil.
• When spices begin to release oil add mushroom and mix well.
• Add about 1/2 cup hot water, salt to taste and mix well.
• Cover and cook on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes.
• Remove the lid and mix well once more.
• Crush kasuri methi with hands and add.
• Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
• Turn off the gas and mushroom masala is already.
• You can have this mushroom masala with naan, paratha, chapatti,
fulka.
• If you don’t like only mushrooms then you can combine these
with paneer or green peas or potato.
