India ka Rto to bahut mahan hai mere sath to bhi ek kissa hua tha jab mujhe Bali ke liye IDP chahiye tha, maine online fees pay kari aur appointment le li, aur waha jake unhone Visa manga jo mein de hi nahi sakta tha kyunki Bali ke liye Visa on Arrival hai. Bahut explain kiya but fir bhi nahi mane, na mere paise refund kiya aur 2-3 chakkar bhi lagwaye fir bhi kaam nahi hua. Stupid dumb people.
Gaganji if you find yourself in a traffic mess abroad with legal implication, Authentic IDP comes in handy, also, the booklet format should be exactly as it is defined by Geneva convention. Indian RTOs are making wrong format license and it does not comply with it but you can make it though automobile association. Please do not recommend self made format, you can get arrested in case of a major traffic mishap abroad and go on trial if your IDP was not authentic. Authentic things can be verified through government agencies!
U cannot get int driving permit without passport and visa copy , infact some rto even demand tickets for some particular destinations , i dont know about the fees of different cities but the permit definately has a stamp of rto on it
Absolutely agree, I took my international driving permit to 🇬🇧. It was absolutely useless on top of that process is complicated, buying insurance policy is very expensive.
If only u made this a year back, I would have enjoyed driving in other countries 😭😭😭😭 I had so much of hassle to get this done, they asked to get a medical certificate from a government doctor and this government hospital ka doctor aaya hi nahi ghanton wait kiya, and then finally I canceled this plan of getting IDP. Aaram se gadi chala lethe korea aur Indonesia mein. Anyway thanks for this video.

I Went to USA, with my original licence and International Driving permit, from Rajkot RTO, but, In USA while renting a car, everytime they asked me for my original licence. No one asked for IDP. Also when you read the rules for driving in US, it is clearly mentioned that, all licences are valid if written in English. So if you are travelling to ENGLISH speaking country, do not make IDP. Our licence printed in ENGLISH is valid

Yaha sare instructions aur classes spanish mea the mere to kucch pale hi na pada so exam mea fail ho gaya... lekin ek din mai highway pe gadi chalate hue police ne pakad liya maine apna indian DL dikhya kyoki mere v samajh nahi aa raha tha karu kya. Police wala v confused usko English nahi aati thi. Fir maine apni wife se bola ki esko bolo ki mere pas international driving licence fir usne usko samjhya to finally usne mujhe jane diya... kair ab mere pass yaha ka driving licence hai. Me kafi travel karta hu internationally but mujhe aaj tak nahi pata tha iske bare me. Filhal me Kuwait me hu or yaha valid nahi hai international driving permit india se bana huwa yaha inke apne rules hai driving permit k.
Gagan Bhai ...in Up you get IDP for one year and issued by RTO. Fees is Rs. 1000 and you need to visit there for photo and other things.very easy process.i got last year for driving in Europe.

Many trafic police constable does not recognize that person carrying the licence does include 4 wheel drive permit or not. The material quality of driving licence is also very poor in Inida.

Moreover in our state uttarakhand it is applied online and personally you have to visit the RTO and they have its records also. But cheat karna hi fitrat ho to its fine, dekh kon raha hai tabhi to hamare yaha doctor, engineer bhi farzi ban rahe hai and ab aap licence bhi banwa do sabka! Salute to you

@@miltonmoses are you sure it specifically tell that its an international one. Because if i am not wrong earlier they dont used to specify on website. And what they just do is that they copy from one format to another without any database changes.
if the accident is happen or any unwanted situation is happen then you will be in trouble to be safe side always bring ID'P to avoid serious consequences. for save some thousand rupees better go for precaution.
The link page is not valid .....it happened with me also when I asked an agent to get me IDP....he said 7k....So l didn't make it....But if I want to drive in other country what paper I have to show to them ...I am a resident of Kolkata and I have a valid DL...
Its the fact i used fake driving license in south africa. Traffic police stopped me i showed them fake license he cannot verify or reject it 😂😂🤣. If he wanted to verify it he must call india RTO
