We have got a similar kind of fern vegetable in fiji and we make two or three different kinds of dishes. We even cook in coconut milk which is extremely tasty and likeable by people in fiji.
Bro it will be easy if you grind between two flat wide stones. The below stone is fully fix in ground and upper flat stone has a hole in middle and a circular motion wood handle. You put grain in this hole and move the upper stones with the help of the handle. It will be more easier than what you are grinding through this. In every village we made wheat floor and many more by flatten two round stones.
