Nominate Sir Pemba Sherpa for Bharat Ratna. He truly deserves it. people can't climb Mt. Everest for one time in their dream and this guy has done it 8 times in reality, really hats off to you sir. Really only a true Gorkha can do it , earlier Sir Tenjing Norgey Sherpa has did it once but this guy has done it 8 times. RIP.

What about accidental and life insurance policy ? The mountaineering expedition team should provide incentives to the berieved family of Mr. Pemba Sherpa. In Nepal, no expedition team can take Sherpas without insurance apart from that they gets good amount of money from the expedition team and the government incase of death or serious injury. Sherpas are the backbone of the mountain tourism and the govt. earns billions out of this business. If you need some sort of support, plz contact some of the major mountaneering agencies in Kathmandu and get some ideas about benefits should one get in such a case. One or two lakhs of rupees does not mean anything..Sorry to hear the news and demise of Mr. Pemba Sherpa, RIP.
