My uncle and I bought a two cars in 2018. i choose to go with hexa and he went with eartiga. Eartiga is like my 2nd car i have driven my hexa at 180 km multiple times , i feel very safe driving hexa on highway at 180 but when I drive eartiga at 120 i feel like I gonna die now. I don't trust another car after driving hexa it's really a tank. Hexa chalne ke baad baki sab cars artificial lagati hai btw my uncle being kanjus likes eartiga and it's average.

Being a owner of hexa. This car haves a cons of front headlight it is having halogen in it projector and the second is handbrake it cant hold car as compare of other in ramp style road or anything.thats what i faced in this car. Another is tyre, i dont know what happened to car around 2 or 3 years of maintaining this tank.i have changed the tyres at least 3 to 4 times all (it was craking) suspension is nice. at the speed of 120 to 130 this car was gliding like plane in heavy curve road in udaipur to mt abu road..btw happily owning this.tnx you

Hexa is an underrated car. Wonderful road presence, fantastic to ride..

It's discontinued Coz of engine, very few wants to invest in Tata ENGINES for bigger vehicles(suv) , that's why dicor and varicor is discontinued and TATA also adopted fiat source Engine for SUV segment. Hexa was a experiment with indian customer with their in house engines and new platform but obviously didn't paid off. No doubt it's a tank.

The Pride of my garage is an Aug 2018 Tata HEXA XTA Az Blue. 70000 happy kms on the Odo! An Amazing Machine! Matchless Engineering by TATA. I have taken it all over the Country including over the Mighty Khardungla Pass fully loaded and with 4 pax. Never felt the vehicle struggling or short of power or torque even during steep climbs. Thank you for this wonderful review. Felt nice to see our Beast being appreciated!

I have a August 2017 model Tata Hexa XE. During the first lockdown in April 2020 its engine immobilizer operated while still parked in my garage (most likely due to low battery voltage). As service stations were close due to lock down I couldn't get it repaired then & the battery was discharged completely. I didn't need a big car during the Covid period so I didn't bother to get it repaired till 10 March 22. Then I finally decided to get it on line. As the vehicle was immobile for almost two years I decided to get it towed to nearby Tata Service Centre & get it checked before attempting start to prevent any damage during start. Also as the battery was flat for almost two years, I got it changed. The car started beautifully without any problems & it is running as good as new. That speaks volumes about the quality of Tata Hexa.

Another car from Tata is Zest. I have the one and I love it very much. Very comfortable drive , I always feel secure while driving zest. Never faced any major problem since 2014. Now it has crossed 120000 km and still we feel like it's new.

I have an August 2017 Tata Hexa XE. It has done about 26400 kilometres during the last five years ( till 03/11/2022). All the driving was in city/highway. Last week I noticed a crack in the silencer and took the car to Tata Service Centre in Bhopal. Detailed inspection revealed four large cracks in the two portions/parts of the Tail Pipe Assembly Post Silencer and one large crack in the Assembly Main Silencer. I also learnt that this was a common problem in Tata Hexa due to which design of silencer has been changed and now comes with a single exhaust. I am surprised as to why Tata Motors hasn't recalled models with faulty parts for inspection/ replacement. I was plain lucky to have discovered the cracks by chance & replaced before complete breakdown somewhere enroute. It cost me Rs 19742/- including parts & labour. If you own a Tata Hexa please get the entire Silencer assembly checked for cracks as a precautionary measure.

I am a qualified engineer. I have done extensively research and test drive of Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite, KIA Sonet and Renault Kiger. Ultimately I purchased Renault Kiger CVT with Turbo engine. I am very happy with my choice. This is the best car and it gives value for money.

why hexa got terminated, ask the people who bought it in 1st batch. after spending 20lacs they still have to suffer with car issues in 1st year only.

But I heard is FWD is more reliable and best for hilly areas. The engine and transmission are located directly above the front wheels, which can provide better traction when climbing hills and driving on slippery roads. Can you please elaborate why RWD is better? BTW, I have xuv300 W8o petrol varient. Which is FWD and it's a best car in mini xuv segment. I'm not comparing it with Hexa, it was monster and I really loved that, but now chapter is closed 😏. I just to add, I'm a big fan of Tata and Mahindra cars. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Tata's are offering Harman Audio System & have intelligently suppressed all the engine, Tyre & small rattling noises by increasing the Infotainment system Audio volume with car speed. That applies to all their Cars from Tiago to Punch.
