पहले भारत वर्ष को अजनाभ वर्ष कहा जाता था बाद में ऋषभदेव के पुत्र भरत के शासन काल में इस वर्ष का नाम भारत वर्ष पड़ा। मुझे एक संशय है। ‘भा’ धातु का अर्थ प्रकाश अथवा ज्ञान है और ‘रत’ धातु का अर्थ है प्रीति रखना या रुचि रखना। तो ‘भारत’ शब्द का अर्थ ज्ञान/प्रकाश में रुचि/प्रीति रखने वाला। तो भारतीय शब्द का मतलब होगा ज्ञान और प्रकाश में रुचि रखने वाले होगा। इससे हमें यह पता चलता है की भारत के लोग ज्ञान और प्रकाश से प्रीति करते थे। क्या यह sahi है। 🙏 जय श्री राम 🙏
i used to believe. as bharatvansh (clan) trumped their enemies during battle of dashradhnya in rigved and adopted their dieties and people instead of persecuting their enemies. the land was recognized as land of bharatas and eventually the whole country/ practice was called bharat

BHARAT is conjugation of two words , BHA = LIGHT , RATT = ENRICHED, that which is enriched with light or land of enchantment people , same HINDU = HANT +DU , HANT = KILL , DU = DUALITY, THAT WHO HAS KILLED HIS DUILTY , and the word HIND in Arabic means that who have 100 camel 🐪 means rich people.
We got so cutoff from our roots that we don’t even remember why the place where we live is called Bharat, it’s like modern day Muslim Arabians trying to make logic why their country is called Arabia.

Indians are not Germans to call it fatherland! Where did BhArat come from? Indian = भारतीय = child of BhAratI or should it be भारतेय like कौन्तेय; or भारत्याः = Indian, grammatically; if भारत son of भरत; Sons of भरत are भारताः). भारतीयसंस्कृति = संस्कृति of भारती culture of India.
