3xo AX5 is better, however regarding mileage, 3xo petrol manual Mpfi will give 10-12 kmpl in city which includes bumper to bumper Traffic, 15-17 kmpl on highways.

You mean Petrol TDGi Manual? This TDGi will give slightly less mileage but I can confirm the exact figures only once I get the Car to drive, gear knob vibration we have got in petrol MPFi AX5 model and same was reported by many owners, for TDGi petrol I will test once we get the Car.

I can suggest you Sonet only for their better service experience, fit & finish & slightly better quality, apart from this I can suggest you Sonet only for their Turbo DCT Automatic. Rest for all reasons(Build,Safety,Ride Quality, Handling, Suspension,Power) 3XO is best.

Soham, it's actually confusing in 3XO variants, we tested AX5 manual & automatic and it was working. We also tested in Mx3 Automatic, it was working. However few subscribers reported that in the Mx3 Manual hill hold assist is not working. In official Press release notes they have mentioned Hill Hold Assist as a standard safety feature across variants. However at this moment I cannot confirm if it is available in MX3 Pro Manual, for automatic yes.

I tested the AX5 Petrol Manual, and Hill Assist was working, but For lower variants it needs to be tested.

No, In AX5L you will be getting the Auto Hold feature along with HHC. Mileage I cannot confirm because I have not driven TDGi yet, however expect less mileage in comparison with MPFi petrol Automatic.

Saksham bhai, I have not driven 3xo TGDi Petrol yet, however in Mpfi Petrol Manual you will get in between 10-12 kmpl in city, 15-17 on highways, Mpfi petrol Automatic will give 9-12 kmpl in city, 15-17 kmpl on highways, however TDGi petrol engine in old xuv300 gives less mileage than Mpfi petrol. So once I get the TDGi xuv3xo to drive then only I will be able to confirm you the exact mileage

Creta 1.5 L NA petrol engine is not fuel efficient & Torque. Power Delivery is very linear, however low-end Torque is good and it's very silent. Yes better seating comfort, bigger boot, silent cabin, better fit finish you will get and creta is one segment higher than 3xo, But I like Creta in Diesel or Turbo Petrol. In 3XO AX5 Petrol you will get more features, better safety, better performance engine. I can suggest you for 3xoAX5 but it depends what your priority is. Better take a test drive of both and then decide.

If mileage is not an issue for you then in Nexon Creative Plus(s) DCA petrol price you can get xuv3xo AX5L AT(1.2L TDGi) variant which is more powerful(130 ps, 250Nm Torque) in which you will get level 2 Adas, Electronic Parking brake with auto hold features. Please check both variants and compare the features,price & take a test drive and then decide again.

I was in the same place.. go for xuv 3xO. Horrific experience with Tata dealership and heard after sales service experience is horrific too. In short, 3xO feels more airy than nexon

@vivekkumar061 Both Nexon DCA & 3XO 6 Speed TC Auto will give almost similar mileage. Just because Nexon has driving modes so in eco,city modes you can get a little more mileage than 3xo. So better please take a test drive of both and then decide, In my opinion NVH levels are slightly better controlled in 3xo Mpfi petrol.

If your driving is more in cities (70-80%in cities+20-30% highway), you need better mileage, better refined & Reliable NA petrol engine, more boot space, smooth gearbox with light clutch,no tension Car then go with Brezza Vxi(Please note Brezza has bigger petrol engine and it's not underpower, it also offers good ride quality on Highways but 3xo ride quality, suspension,handling, performance is better than Brezza on Highways, bad roads). However, if your running is more on the highway, you need better performance with maximum safety (6 airbags 5 star in gncap), rear seat comfort, more features including sunroof then go with 3xomx3pro. Note for hill driving Brezza is better than xuv3xo petrol.

@vanchhitdubey I Agree, but Features, Looks, interior are personal choices. Safety wise yes new Brezza has not tested yet in ncap(old Brezza got 4 stars in Gncap) However current Brezza also I feel can get minimum 4 star if tested, but yes till then XUV3XO has upper hand on safety part.

In Petrol Mpfi 1.2 L engine with Manual Transmission, you can get in between 15-17 kmpl on the highway, Petrol TGDI 1.2 L Manual can give 13-16 kmpl on Highway if you drive light foot. NVH levels are better controlled in petrol than Diesel. Maintenance will be slightly higher in Diesel Engine. but If running is around 70 km Daily on Highways, I will suggest you XUV3XO Diesel Manual, you can get better mileage 17-20 kmpl on Highways if you drive light foot.

Kindly specify what additional maintenance is required for diesel as mentioned by you so that I can decide whether to opt for diesel engine or not

Sir, also plz share about the chassis structure frame of this vehicle as crash test report from global NCAP is yet to be done. Although booked but still a pending doubt arises regarding safety rating of this car like Nexon.

It's the same monocoque that we have in xuv300, it's just a facelift and new name of xuv300 with few adjustments. Safety wise expect same or better ratings like we got for xuv300(5 star in gncap), but yes this new xuv3xo is not tested yet.

After the introduction of BS6, now bs6ph2, Diesel engine have additional Dpf maintenance, SCR maintenance, fuel system maintenance along with periodic Annual maintenance, please check XUV3xo Diesel engine manual book & service book to know the exact periodic maintenance.

Both cars are good, but if your priority is safety, performance & better handling,ride quality then 3XO & if your priority is mileage with a more reliable engine then fronx.

In Practical 1.2L Petrol MPFI will give slightly better mileage than 1.2L Petrol TGDI.

You can go with AX5 Petrol Automatic however it will give less mileage on hills and turbo lag as well, however if your running is more in Hill as you mentioned Mussoorie,Pauri gadhwal region then take a test drive of Brezza also because it has NA bigger petrol engine which actually performs well in hill region, no turbo lag & better mileage & service network is also good.

Expect in between 8-11 kmpl in bumper to bumper Traffic, City. On Highways you can get 13-16 kmpl but it can give more also, all depends on driving patterns. Manual can give slightly better mileage.

HHC(Hill hold Control)\Hill Hold Assist is available in AX5 Model but This is what Mahindra has mentioned in their Press release Note- "35 standard safety features across all variants including 6 airbags, ESC with Hill Hold Control (HHC) & All 4 Disc Brakes" However in AX5L you will get Auto hold feature.

No it's not true......I have MX 3 varient and there is no Hill hold control feature.

You can get good mileage- driving light foot, maintaining 70-80 kmph speed on the highway, but this is a very powerful engine, isko bhagane mai he mazaa aata hai, so as I said more performance oriented petrol engines give less mileage. But again it all depends on driving patterns.
