तत्कालीन राणा प्रधानमन्त्री जुद्धशमशेरलाई भेटेर आफ्ना माग राखेकी थिइन् । र, जुद्धशम्शेरले माग पुरा गर्ने आश्वसन समेत दिएका थिए । योगमायाले सती प्रथा र जातीय प्रथा पूर्ण रूपमा अन्त्य हुनुपर्ने, मानापाथीको दुरुपयोग बन्द गरिनुपर्ने, बालविवाह बहुविवाहको प्रथा तुरुन्त बन्द गरिनुपर्ने, विधवा विवाहलाई पूर्ण रूपमा मान्यता दिनुपर्ने जस्ता माग राखेकी थिईन् ।

Yogamaya had demanded that the practice of sati and caste system should be completely ended, the abuse of manapathy should be stopped, the practice of child marriage and polygamy should be stopped immediately, and widow marriage should be fully recognized.
