रामायण, महाभारत की भ्रांतियाँ | Misconceptions about Ramayana, Mahabharata | Ancient India
A lot of books were burnt and Unviversities like the Nalanda University were destroyed but people still remembered Ramayana & Mahabharata. Ramayana & Mahabharata have been very popular in Ancient India, Medieval India & Modern India.
However there have been a few misconceptions, myths regarding Ramayana & Mahabharata which need to be clarified. Some scholars claim that Ramayana became famous only in Medieval India. Some even claim that the Raksha's in Ramayana and Mahabharata are Muslims which is not true.
Who are Asuras? Ramayana and Mahabharata are not Communal. The Hindu Dharma is not communal. Anyone who follows the Dharma can be a Dharmi & any one who does not follow the Dharma is an adharmi or an asura, Rakshas. Ravana was a Brahmin, an educated Scholar but did not follow Dharma hence he was an asura, rakshas. Duryodhana was a Kshatriya, brother of Dharmaraj but did not follow dharma hence he was Adharmi.
What is a Rakshas Vivaha? Why did Maharaja Ranjit Singh make Islamic Invaders wear Pathani Suits?
