Being from the Rail industry myself it was a pleasure to listen to Mr. Mani and his ideas, Very informative and he clearly highlights various issues in our sector! Please keep inviting such technocrats! And Mr. Arvind, your questions were detailed. Thank you
@@ManiSudhanshu Sir what do you about this comment?? 'I get brainwashed leftist vibe from this Man. Sad, ☹️such intelligent people are susceptible to leftist lies!!'
@kalam needs straight pillar height approx 15-25meter and land acquisition say 500kms..... So first let mumbai ahmedabad b built as most if the gujratis r workers who travel to Mumbai hahahaha actually it needs to build for that section which needs to travel.... Not for politicians who use travel on govt cost Nd the ones w beurocrats class ie getting paid wo working class nd banya class who just increase the cost of materials 5 times that's the present situation so let's c what comes of it.. If ur dokala fan u can take bullet train by 2026 hopefully 🌹🌹🌹🙊 it would have been better to connect nagpur to Mumbai first as it wd have reduced 17 hrs travel to under 4hrs with 2hrs each runs and connected east-west of India or Delhi-Mumbai or Patna-Delhi first as max population wd have been catered to
Mani sir, has the in-depth insight on the Indian railways system and it’s policies. Wish him to be in policy making team for prosperous Indian railways future. Hope govt. is aware of all the challenges point out by mani sir in the podcast..
What I like most about Shudhanshu Ji is his critisising nature and pointing government directly. Sure Govt is doing GOOD but only GOOD is not worthy , BEST needed. I believe that Mr. Ashvini Vaishnav sir will work on it. Yes India is speeding !!! हम गति पकड़ने दौड़े है , गति मिलेगी ही । 🔥
🙏 Thanks. Many do not understand, or rather do not want to understand, unable to digest the truth. Speaking the truth is then dismissed as the voice of a disgruntled person. To each his own 🙏
@@ManiSudhanshu Sir just one request to you is please be in touch with ministry or the Personnels working in ministry then you can do more better for the Railways. System के बाहर रहकर System बदलना बहुत कठिन है । What I want is that good talks between you and ministry continues. क्यूं सोचे की T18 का क्या होगा , कुछ नही होगा तो तजुर्बा होगा 🙏🏻
@@ManiSudhanshu Aap ko bahut shubh kaamnaaye Sudhanshu ji. I can tell you are a patriot of the first order and want India to gain true design knowledge as well as manufacturing capacity. Criticism and questioning of the current administrators from someone like you with vast experience is always welcome. You raise so many valid questions about why certain tenders for certain quantities have been raised or why certain parts are still imported etc. I wish there were decision makers or our railway minister answering these questions. At the very least one is curious to know why fencing and track upgradation is going at a slow pace given the projected number of vande bharat trains. I hope you come on this channel often to give us an update of what is going well and not so well with the Railways from time to time.
@@ManiSudhanshuNow❤ atleast if v can, as 180kmph webtac brakes have been tested on new vande nd if found useful, can they b put on every train along with anti collision if it works to stop trains at least possible time nd if double brakes or automatic brakes w laser guided track obstruction is detected if trains can braked to min possible speed it has advantages.. So automatically braking signal braking with kavach Nd Ai enabled or control room enabled in case of emergencies it is a must to implement
Hey Buddy, can you bring Retrired IAS officer Sanjay Dixit Ji to your podcast. He is 1 of the few Indians who does a Perfect analysis of current Events related to the India. And surprisingly, he also has Answer to every Question related to India and its History. His Expertise lies in Indian History, Partition of India, National Integrity and islamic invasions. Thanks!
What a realist. Mr. Sudhanshu Mani is someone who should have been given an extension with a new challenge to develop an indigenous High Speed Train. The man seems to be brimming with ideas and execution. Thanks for bringing him to the show.
Loved this podcast. His experience and knowledge reflects through his conversation. Salute you sir. I love Vande Bharat train. Gov needs to work on their weak areas and improve the railway.
Salute to Sudhanshu Mani sir and his team. There are some elements in our society,Those who are unable to create history, they will always blame. History is created by Mani sir and Modi sir. Jai hind.
Sudanshu mani ji addressed all the valid points this video .he is exact to the point .if average speed is under 80 train is a waste we just do not want to enjoy luxury but we want journey time cut down .first upgrade tracks and fence the tracks .
Track up gradation is happening very fast since last 10 years prev there was not even railway crossings and electrification and even proper cleanliness all railway crossing got upgraded and electrification of treks done and now all trains have bio toilet before few years it was just a dream now we r talking about speed . speed can't be achieved in day. And vande bharat is not only about speed..
Aaj ki tarikh me itna to kaam kia.. 70 saal me kya ukhad kia jo aaj sarkar ki intension ko sawal Kaer rahe he.. sir humne bhi India dekha he aj tak.. aage kya hoga ye pata nahi he
I was eagerly awaiting for mr.sudhanshu mani...for his heroic efforts in taking big bulls ( cows ) and going ahead with amazing works and his colleagues at ICF... Chennai... 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
0) Sections of WDFC/EDFC are running freight trains as of now. Land acquisition is almost done. Other than one critical stretch in EDFC with extensive tunneling there should be not be much delay. So contract mgmt might be major issue as suggested. 1) JVs with MSME supply-chain seems to be the future both for growing manufacturing ecosystem with incoming tech, investment and scaling. As capacity increases the kind of projects that can be executed will definitely grow multiple times over 5-10 years. 2) About track renewal there's a question mark as it can't be done with a magic wand. Unless there's some other method to get it done parallely without disrupting traffic to reduce time frame. Update : 3) IR going to take help of NHAI crash barrier/barrier tech for stopping cattle accidents by enclosing the tracks.
There are some updates, i'm sure guest would know that Vande Bharat wheels were coming from Ukraine, but due to war, it was delayed and then Modi government decided that all forged wheels will be made in India. Regarding automatic door, i remember there was 1 company which installed indigeneous door system in one of the metro stations, I'm sure in next 2-3 years we will be creating them Kavach is a good system indigeneously made. I agree there are lot of things which needs to be done but i think lots have changed in last 8 years regarding broad guage, double lining and electrification, cleanliness, station redevelopment.
Brother do u think we import all parts of train from abroad..... If no can u tell which have been imported (i asked this becuz wat u have said is contrary to mani Sir's comment)
A forged wheel pant by RINL is ready for commissioning for more than a year with an investment of Rs 2000 crores. Yes, some good work has sure been done but let us not talk of half truths please. 🙏
It is important for experts to talk to the govt nd convince them nd show them the mirror . Speaking on Podcasts doesnt help in improvement but only makes the viewers more anxious . Just my thought sirji 🙏🏼
Every IAS Officer during service: I'll sleep and pass my time and never let my control go. After retirement: I've many unique ideas and pvt sector is good.
IAS bureaucracy is like an immovable object, no single person however skilled or enthusiastic, cannot change the system. The sole objective of that mafia is to hold control of everything, earn millions in corruption and do minimal work all while maintaining "elite" stature in the society. So no point blaming Mr Mani. He did everything he could with little support.
He is IRAS not IAS, you are right but we should welcome criticism especially when we don't know how people worked during their administration. It's very tough to be a successful administration being in govt. One interview not in line with our political inclination doesn't mean we should criticise his working
From the time conversation started, first thing to appreciate is the vocal quality of Shree Sudhanshu Mani which compelled to listen entire video. Inspite of such a great achievement nowhere does he mentions it with to much pride. He probably has certain reservations on planning and has right to express as a experience super top boss. However he doesn't criticise in a indecent manner. These qualities only make such high profile individuals. Salute to Mani .Sir
Inspiring talk for new energetic engineers and it's seem that how tough to do in India🇮🇳 during talk I observed that if our PM don't show intrest it can not be happened Salute yor dedication sir jai Hind
@Mani Sudhanshu ❤❤❤ Sudhanshu mani u shd use ur influence to advocate for the need for 4 coach Memu that can run 130kmph or 160kmph doable absolutely.... ICF makes 220 coaches which can b scaled up to 240 or 280 a month and mint 70-75 memus that runs 160kmph in a month and distribute 12 each to run 50 kms both sides or 360 degrees of a cities ie every 10min frequency solves all the problems ie if 12 memus r distributed to run 6 runs every hr to n fo 50 to 60 kms in 1 hr solves all the present probs in cities esp w feeder bus service 2stns covering a radius of 10-20kms frm the stn nd major stops curtailed to 50kms making trains faster and easier for longer routes nd memus for under 50 kms travel as available every 10min.. Railways adopts 6 cities each mth providing 12x6 72 Memus ie in a yr 60 cities have risen to new levels of travel.. Or railways ensures 60 new metro city creation... So start creating with the power u have ❤❤❤ if v had the power I wd do it Tom.... Make a new Tom today... Railways 2Adopt 6 cities nd create 6new metro cities acroos the nation each month, 😂❤with rcf, mcf taking care of the rest of the products
This was lots of fun listening to candid talk between you and Mr.Mani. Belonging to Railway Engineering I really enjoyed this talk. I personally feel Logistics policy implemented well will revolutionize all moods of Transport including railway. @@ManiSudhanshu I understand your frustration sir. All of us staff who work hard to bring change is nullified time to time by rigid ministry, Board, Officer mentality and lack of coordination, constantly changing direction and not valueing the valuable staff. It's depressing. I see change of mindset in myself too before joining and now after 10yrs of service. It happens sadly. But then those who only know to work hard and serve the nation will keep doing so no matter the shortcomings of the system 🙏🏻 I really appreciate relentless work of all those service staff with managers like you overlooking and trying my best to immitate the same 🙏🏻😌
Great interview kept me interested till end ,watching it on the day when kerela vande bharat started . Always good to hear knowledgeable persons like you ,should keep contributing to railways in some way or other .Thanks
Very encouraging shift in the government machinery and drivers. Hope to see more ministers like Ashwini and leaders like Modi emerging in Indian horizon. It's time everyone converges with the India growth story and every effort should be made to accelerate the journey
Train 18 was made by the experts of ICF, not the government, so all the credit should go to them. Firstly they criticized the project_ now they are claiming credit for it . Don't be brainwashed by political messages, see the truth within.
@@sanjoybhattacharya7476 both the Givg and Rly board were peeved ICF made almost on their. They could not claim any thing. They stopped it for two years. When Train 18 went viral modi the publicity hAwk swooped for neat. Any thing and every thing for election stunt.

Great Man.... In India there is long history of anti national elements always dominates Really True Nationalism because powerful cartel of corrupt politician, corrupt bureaucracy and foreign forces. Famous example Late Shree Dr. APG Abdul Kalam in Hovercraft case in defense. Isro Dr. Nambi Narayanan, and many more along with Sudhanshu Mani. But it is unfortunate in present Nationalist Govt. I found a Extremely Good Technical and Practical Knowledge , courage to put right thing an balanced way...

With due respect to Shri Mani ji..and with great respect for his efforts in Vande Bharat prototype.. Fact remains he seems to be very disgruntled man.. negative and perhaps deep inside political...and full of unconstructive sarcasm.. Because I have seen his many interviews with News Station (channel dedicated to Railways) he was then Mocking and "RUBBISHING" even the ambitions around making so many Vande Bharat trains.. now in very short time we have seen 2-3 trains are coming out every month already then he had changed the goal post and rubbishing everything else.. Perhaps this was the mindset for which he was removed.. Or perhaps he was just a boss in ICF but real work in prototype was done by other team members and he alone wanted to hog limelight.. dunno.. but having watched him enough to at least be sure of . He spreads negativity and sarcasm.. and he has hid many things around indegenousation of say wheels, seats, doors etc.. Alao WHY acceleration thing was pushed ? For that you have to watch Ashwini Vaishnaw interactions with all our future engineers in colleges.. the essence of message is to just instill confidence among youth "you can do" "you are no lesser than anyone in world" and "you have to take Indian engineering forward and put on world map"...
100%. If tracks were completed first, then he would have said opposite. He didn't even speak engineering facts. Looks to be a Middle Manager who is hogging credit and is disgruntled.
@@ManiSudhanshu Sudhanshuji this is your problem.. leave aside everything else and get into nitpicking... Why don't you ask newstation or any other platform to host Ashwin Vaishnaw and raise your questions / concerns... BUT before that you must find an answer within yourself "do you want our next gen of engineers to be motivated enough, beaming with ideas and self belief that they need to put Indian engineering on world map ? You like it it or not But they are already doing it, much beyond realms of Railways.. Take space for instance, telecom, neet gen defence, next gen digitalization, social commerce, fintech (building blocks and incrementally added blocks on world most robust "India stack") etc etc etc....within Space and aerospace am not talking about ISRO, DRDO etc ...pure play startups supported by GOI's initiatives and operational and financial support framework they have created...
Please don’t change the goal post. I spoke about railways alone and unless one has the stomach to recognize the truth, only hype will prevail and good work consigned to oblivion. But I have no wish to change your thinking, you are welcome to your views 🙏
@@ManiSudhanshu as an engineer you know and as one of pioneers in concept of mobile-money (well destiny put me in that role I can only be thankful) we know Railways is one of least complex engineering, given where technological building blocks are going.. and in all those technology building blocks (signaling, metallurgy, communication and SDN, AI & simulations, electronics, heavy enginnerting, industry 4.0 manufacturing inc robotics / machinery etc etc) we are beating our own expectations very rapidly... Railway is also funding our kids in IIT madras for indegeneous hyperloop (may fail thats fine)... but all that shows intent, policy and aspirations.. you can't see Railways in isolation at the end of day it is nothing but a combination of engineering building blocks, innovations aligned with global evolution and policy framework to align Bharat with such evolution.. I sense you have concerns (not denying they may not be genuine - perhaps 100% genuine).. therefore I urge you to have discussion with Ashwini Vaishnav on any social media platform... ask say Newstation to facilitate that... or say Vaad... He seems to be humble enough guy and surely very knowledgeable.. I come from next gen sectors and sometimes watching him explain technological nuisances is sort of refresher course for me... and he is in charge of all key ministries that will build Railways of next generation I.e. communications, IT, and Railways...
Any Upgradation costs money, which needs to have a return, thus raising train fares. It's okay to upgrade tracks on major routes, where there is sufficient demand & traffic to support the huge expenditure, but not for all routes.
