দুপুরে সব ব্রোকাররা ডিএসসিতে একটা টেবিলে বসে এক-দেড় ঘন্টা শেয়ার লেনদেন করত। সন্ধ্যায় মতিঝিল এলাকায় আবার অনেক মানুষ শেয়ার সার্টিফিকেট কেনাবেচা করত। অনেক সংস্কার ও উন্নয়ন হয়ে বাজার আজকের চেহারায়। তবে ভালো কোম্পানি না আসা, দুর্বল রেগুলেশন, কারসাজির শক্ত বিচার না হওয়ার মত নানা সমস্যায় শেয়ার বাজার অপরিণত থেকে গেছে, যেটি সম্পদের সুষ্ঠু বন্টনে অন্তরায়।
