Whereas Capitalism is based on the operation of free market mechanism resulting in severe economic inequality in accumulation of individual wealth , absolute control of this free market is not feasible but with ownership of natural productive resource and appropriate control of periodic price rise lying with the modern state with the sole aim to bring welfare to the maximum no of citizens , control of economic inequality is possible with the help of appropriate policy .
