Today I have prepared Ilish Bhapa which I like the most.Hilsa steamed in a spicy mustard based gravy tastes heavenly with hot rice. Hope you all like this recipe.
Ingredients:
1. Hilsa fish - 4 pieces
2. Black mustard seeds - 2 tablespoons
3. Yellow mustard seeds - 2 tablespoons
4. Cashew nuts - 5/6 pieces
5. Desiccated coconut - 2 tablespoons
6. Curd - 2 tablespoons
7. Mustard oil - 4 tablespoons
8. Salt to taste
9. Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
10. Green chilies - 6
11. Water as required
